Only 60btc shipped in briefcase (without original box).  Haven't even taken the card out of the ASUS box (RMA'd because of the HDMI port issue) so it's basically brand new.

(Will also trade for FPGA miner...)

I'd rather not buy something that is damaged. Have you contacted Asus about getting it fixed under warranty?
No but I'll look into it.

You bought one of their Flagship ROG GPU's, I'm sure they'd love to take care of you. (and try to sell you on the next gen one, like the MARS or something)

So integrity doesn't count in your book, hope your not trying to improve your reputation here given how you misrepresent items..

Quality is relative. I list things on Amazon all the time. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck, and is labeled a duck, the customer will assume they just bought a duck. If a customer has any reason to doubt my item is not as described, unless they opt for a return and a refund, they can simply file a claim with amazon, and I'm out their money, and my product.

Condition

An honest appraisal of the product's condition (whether new, used, or collectible) is the first step toward ensuring a great experience for both buyer and seller. Whatever their condition, you may list your product at any price you feel is fair, regardless of the Amazon.com price or list price.

What's the condition of the card? Any scratches to speak of? Any residue? Are the extras in the box still sealed? If so, you could probably pass it off as new and sell it on amazon, That's what I did with one of mine, got $1600 for it. Sold the other for about that much in BTC. Not bad for having paid $800 each on newegg. So what is you asking price, anyway? I might be interested to sell another one on Amazon, if you know what I mean!  Cool

And as far as two 7970's being better, you're still looking at 4 slots as opposed to 3.  Roll Eyes

1150mh/s you pay me 150btc for it.

Boggled why anyone would pay so much when you can get  2x 7970s NEW for the same price which would be >1400 MH/s.

I'm curious, How did you get it stable at such speeds?

My results with two of those cards:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/asus-ares-5870-x2-mining-details-440mhashs-6756

In order to get to 500MH/s on each core, you've have to be running ~1100-1150MHz, I'm guessing. You can't do that on stock voltages, and he said in the OP he runs it overvolted. That also means a lot of heat, which I would not do in a CF scenario (which you were), or if there was bad airflow.
Actually I run the card undervolted because my system pulled nearly 600 watts at 1050mh/s and 1.2x volts (don't remember the exact number).  It's currently volted at a stock 5970 level -1087mV- but core is 850mhz instead of the 5970's 725mhz and the system pulls a little over 400 watts.

@ataranlen: - caseless, only card in rig (apart from APU), ambient temp approx 75.  If I recall I had it up to 1150mh/s at one point but the gpus ran way too hot (95 or so).  1050mh/s was rock-solid and temps around 85.

Can you post the exact core/mem/volts you ran to get 1150MH/s? Or at least the 1050MH/s? Im having a hard time believing you got 575MH/s per core. Most 5870s cant even get to 500! (424-450 is closer).
