This was marketing from asus since beginning, all other manufactures have only up to 12 or 13 gpus which means they know that is the maximum gpus windows recognizes, i wonder if somebody with linux got 19 gpus to work with this motherboard.

There're some members already posted their successful tests with 19 or even 21 GPUs with B250 in Window 10 Fall Creator version 1709, but the GPUs they used are dedicated mining P106-100. Even me, I also run 16 GPUs with this motherboard. For AMD GPU, of course we could not go over 13 GPUs, I ever saw Bit Be Trippin upload a video which he built 13 AMD (blockchain driver) + 6 GTX 1060.

I asked Carter once about it..he said 13 regular GPU is the limit and rest will need to be mining GPUs...

I wouldn't mind buying mining GPU's but 1060 equivalent for $600+?   Riiiiight.....I'll just buy me 1080's from ebay and it comes out cheaper

I read a lot of replies from comrades that this is not possible, the mb in is not working
however I wonder if it possible to do trick it? I have asrock AB350 pro mainboard, on Nvidia card is supports only 3 of them ( while for amd you can start 6 cards) but I trick it through pci-e 1x to 4x extension.  so now it runs 6x nvdida cards)

I've been a fan of this motherboard recently. Mainly because Ive been building 8-12 card rigs.

I really like the 3 atx connections eliminating the dual psu cable and or other fixes.

The bios is easy to use and it comes ready out of the box.

I have run into issues when using this motherboard with ethos however.

On windows ive had a very easy time getting things to work.

But I digress. I have not been able to get more than 13 of the same gpu to work on this board.

I've had success with mixing cards but never more than 13 amd at a time.

I've looked into going beyond that but I havent been able to find anyone that has pulled it off.

Long story short, I pretend that this board has 13 slots.

I just tried to shuffle all my amd cards (10 card total) and it keeps giving me the fu sign past 8.  How u get it pst 8?

Many have tried, including me. Mb wont boot when connecting gpu nr. 14. Tried with 14 radeon 570.

I tried many tests with this dedicated mainboard. But it seems like we could not go over 13 AMD GPUs. All of successful attempts which built 19 or even 21 GPUs on this mainboard were the tests with Nvidia P106-100 GPUs.  I ever done a test with 16 P106-100 GPUs, it's quite easy and no need any special setup, just increase virtual memory (I set it 16 Gb) and use a core i3 cpu, 8 Gb RAM, could work both in Window 10 Fall Creator version 1709 and Ubuntu.

I know theres a limitation on 13 GPU and the rest needs mining cards...have anyone try to go over 13 regular GPU on this card yet?   Reason why I"m asking is because I think it's a waste of space not to use them and it's almost impossible to get any mining GPU at a reasonable price..

anybody anybody?
