I hope he won't be able to buy Twitter in the end.

Your hope is still possible, after months of arguments between the two parties, although Elon has announced that he will buy back twitter at an agreed price, it seems that Elon has not yet received the consent of the shareholders of twitter. They remain silent for now and it is not clear what their actions are this time and the trial will begin on October 17, if Elon doesn't get the nod from twitter on the 17th, he will most likely end up in court. Elon is in a more passive position than twitter, if he loses the lawsuit, he will have to pay 1 billion VND for breaking the contract.
The future of twitter is bright like crypto
Please are ultimately switching to twitter for more serious and decent content
SO twitter hold the power to attract the people and the buyer

Elon Musk could transform Twitter into an analogue of WeChat in China. WeChat was primary just a chat app, not it is a used for banking, trading good, booking stuff and etc. Payment system integrated into communication app. Users phone number is the account. Elon Musk has enough funds to convert Twitter into something like that, or add similar functions. That might cause users to lose part of their anonymity, but that will kill all those unwilled twitter bots or fake accounts.
Considering how he has been kissing the dictators hands all over the world, and he is a weird fellow, I am pretty sure that Twitter will be much much worse with him at the helm.

I mean this dude is not a good dude, you need to realize that, many people idolize him, and yes it is true that you should idolize the hardwork he has, or the entrepreneur mindset that he has and so forth but that doesn't mean that he should be still making any type of mistakes in his personal life or interviews or in this case even his tweets. Dude is a good business person, but a horrible person and you need to learn to separate the two from each other for sure.

Twitter can be expanded, its not limited to what it is right now.  I cant see the point of buying it without some vision for expansion to its capabilities, not sure it would be another youtube but short videos are apparently preferable in revenue terms anyway and more relevant to the mobile idea it originated with.
Yes twitter can still be developed again and that's a lot of hope when Elon Musk wants to buy it,
new features are highly anticipated so that twitter looks fresher,
obviously let's just see what will happen next

Let's hope there will be good changes once he acquires it.
2 of my accounts are gone and one of them was changed to a lady owner. I don't know what happened to it so I just trashed it to avoid more problems.
Freedom of speech is good but security must be higher. No to freedom to hack or the freedom to close accounts just because the owner wants him down or the other person's opinion is not in agreement with his.
The better part that I see is if he reconstructs it with cryptocurrencies injected with it.
It's clear that one of your accounts gets hacked but you should report it and see if the twitter team will recover it. You can also include your other account when you report. Don't just ignore the problem and let the hackers won because they will be more motivated to do the same thing again especially if more users are going to respond the same as you.

Let's assume that they will improve Twitter overall not just its security because there are a lot of flaws from the previous versions of Twitter. Adding cryptos on the platform is also a good idea other than the crypto topics that we see there. This will make Twitter more crypto-oriented versus to other social media sites.

Bots have been one of the main worries for Elon about Twitter, in fact it was one of the main reasons the deal did not happened immediately as he was not happy about this situation, and if we are honest it is going to be very difficult for him to solve this problem, because as long as there is money to be made scammers will always find a way to circumvent whatever barriers to entry he puts in place and keep operating as usual.
If you could delete every single bot all at once somehow (which is near impossible) then you do not have to worry about all of them restarting again. At the very least you have stopped them being so common at first, and that’s a big deal, and after they are all gone, they can start to accumulate more bot accounts but it will be a slow and gradual increase, it won't be right away.

Meaning, let’s assume there are 10 million bot accounts, if we start to see 10k at first, then 50k in a year, then 100k in 2 years, and then 1 million in 3 years, that’s still nowhere close. Maybe it will take as much as 5 years to have the same bot accounts and that makes twitter a better place for 5 years. Instead of just keep growing bigger.

Many people think that it's good is Musk buys Twitter. To be honest, I am surprised. That would create a monopoly on decision-making by a person whose thoughts and opinions change quite often, and who also regularly manages to say something that is insensitive and offends many people. Musk claims he supports freedom of speech, but, honestly, I am not sure that I believe that he won't just ban those who write what he doesn't like (Rogozin, without whom the platform is probably better off, but also ElonJet whom Musk sees as a security risk but couldn't make shut up yet, to name just a few). I hope he won't be able to buy Twitter in the end.

Well, I know one thing....

Elon Musk loves Crypto currencies ....and he will most definitely encourage Crypto content on Twitter if he eventually buy it. We have seen a lot of these large social media platforms ..banning Crypto currency advertising, because it was either too expensive to filter the genuine content from the scams or the masters behind the scenes.. pushed their own agenda.  Angry

Let's hope his stand on Crypto currencies will stay the same ...and that he will allow "freedom" for legitimate Crypto currency projects to flourish on the Twitter platform.

I really hope he does not change this platform to a "subscription" service only.  Roll Eyes

If this platform is used as a subscription, I think this platform will only be accessed by certain people, not like now, as for if they implement a subscription system, there must be additional features such as other platforms that already apply the subscription feature.

Compared to Facebook and TikTok, Twitter seems to be less favorable but has for long being the opinion ground for the likes of Elon and ex president Donald Trump.
Now, believe me I'm happy Twitter is being bought by someone so ostensibly pro-free speech as Elon Musk, but man....I would have busted one in my pants if he'd purchased Youtube instead.  As far as social media platforms go, Twitter is extremely popular and one that IMO needs to be overhauled.  But seeing as how I don't use it and do watch videos on YT quite a bit, it would have probably made creators on that site a lot less skittish about what they say and what topics they can and can't cover.

But still I'm pleased with this.  Maybe soon Twitter will become less of a left-wing stronghold, but we'll see.  Elon Musk is not only impulsive, he's unpredictable, so it's anyone's guess as to what changes are going to be made.
I doubt Google's Alphabet Inc want to sell their golden egg, Youtube. Even a share seems unlikely. Twitter has been shit for years. You, me and a lot of sensible people wouldn't go to Twitter at all. As someone said, the place had a bunch of woke craps and blue hair landwhale that come to offensive from anything. A good reason why Twitter wants a sellout rather than keep operating that site.
Elon Musk has a noble goal for Twitter, to push for it to become more open, more freedom of speed after the takeover. So maybe he did see the potential of the site after that and willing to keep on the purchase. His criticism of Twitter because the place is full of bots is valid too. No wonder he halts the purchase at that concern, to lower the initial price.

It seems that things are not over yet, although Elon has announced that he will buy back twitter at the original agreed price. Elon proved weaker in this sale, twitter has not withdrawn the lawsuit when Elon announced to accept the deal. The trial will begin on October 17, although the event has nothing to do with the markets, it is well worth watching as we are know that Elon is a crypto fan.
Twitter is really a great social network, the only annoying thing is that there are so many bots, I also hope that after taking over he will have a solution to this problem.

What I badly want to change about Twitter is the proliferation of scammer bots. They are simply unchecked. Every time you take a look at tweets of popular crypto personalities, you will see that they are flooded with comments from bogus accounts posting shady links and promoting scam projects. If I'm not mistaken, some of these scammers have already managed to get that blue badge.

Twitter has already integrated crypto features at the hands of Jack. And I think that whether Twitter will transfer ownership or not, it will still be further developed with Bitcoin or crypto in consideration.

It is an opinion ground for some and majority of times they block people who has an opinion, so i would personally like to see Elon Musk taking over Twitter because he will not restrict anyone simply because of an opinion. Whether he will be able to purchase them is another story as it is hard to understand his views with his cryptic messages most of the time as he likes to troll majority of the time.

I think this is a good decision that could benefit everyone because even though his plans to go public didn't materialize, it was still important that he took control of the growth from where Dorsey left off. Let's wait for the official announcement for more information in terms of reaching agreement on the figures mentioned above.

So I'm not sure if Twitter would be a lot better in Elon's hands than in Jack's hands. And I surely wouldn't hope that Elon's stand on cryptocurrency stays. I'd rather that he just keeps his mouth shut as far as crypto is concerned.
I can't imagine about what if twitter had been bought and managed by Elon, his last history on kirpto I know that he has dropped crypto prices to tweet some "FUD" information on his twitter account, after that I have unfollowed his tweets because he is not important for me to know. So I support twitter to stay in Jack's hands and maybe he can cancel Elon's offer, currently twitter is the most friendly social media about crypto discussions to give announcements, debate, discuss and more about freedom of expression without regulatory intervention that suppresses the right of expression related to crypto.

Twitter had suffered alot from it critics across the world to an extent that some countries even got the social media network banned within their region without any notice, but i understand this is something that has to do with not the abuse use proported but the negotiating hands eith the government which has been a long itching challenge for both sides, but at the end they must come into concession and allow the smoothy operations to resume just as in this case.

I am not sure if they do, after all they are going to lose Twitter to Elon, it would be wiser to keep the product and not sell it. I understand that billions of dollars is not something to scoff at, and if someone offered you billions of dollars on what you won right now, you would take it.

But, if someone offered me 40-50 billion dollars, or twitter, I would prefer to own twitter instead of that money. They are both making a good amount of revenue to begin with, and they are also growing in size as well. Twitter lost its appeal for a while back in the day, but these days politics really took a big hold of twitter (and crypto too) and that made it grow bigger.

I don't know what the former owners of twitter were thinking when they decided to sell it but with what you're saying, I think Elon seems to see the potential this social network has for him, especially with his businesses, twitter will bring thousands of benefits to Elon and his work. I think that's why he suggested buying twitter. The stalled deal could also be his plot, maybe he's already achieved his goal that we can't see.

Is this final already? That only means Elon is also serious about getting the twitter it’s just that he want’s both parties to agreed with his terms and with this, it can be a good buyout for Twitter. Let’s see what Elon can do to solve the issues with Twitter especially with freedom of speech and crypto adoption. Elon is more on Doge and Bitcoin, we might see that option soon but let’s hope that Elon will not require every uses to use only DOGE because that is not a freedom after all.

The latest news is still under review and not final, even many people can't wait for Elon Musk to acquire Twitter, I'm sure after becoming Elon Musk's, Twitter will be more aggressive and have very different features or functions.
That's what a lot of people expected but so far it hasn't happened,
when Elon Musk actually acquires Twitter maybe later there will be development and there are some new features,
for now it's better to enjoy the rumors and keep up with the progress
