If you are planning to buy and hold, now is a good time to buy. It does not matter what the price is, if you really believe in bitcoin, you'll know that you'll be profit in 2 and more years. So either its 450 or 300 , buy now and not waste opportunity.

Well i bet to differ. I think the price will go back to 350 soon. Then it will be a good opportunity to buy and hold. If your outlook is to hold for 2/3 years. Either be patient or do nothing.
This advice will save you some money.

I recalled when it dropped below $200, i had thought getting lot of bitcoin was good idea.  My thoughts were its very hard for it to go below that.  And even if it did, i couldn't see bitcoin falling to below $100.  Even if it did, i felt it would go all and it wouldn't take a long time if bought at around $200.  Now bitcoin has risen up.

How much money buying bitcoin would you say is still a good buy?  Is $430 as its right now still a good buy?  Obviously it could swing down to 200 and thats a pretty big drop.  The thing is i felt like when it went to 200 a while back, that was a time you should have bought a lot of bitcoin.

Thoughts on this?

Right now, $380 would be a good buy point......but me personally, I wouldn't touch Bitcoin at any price unless there was bullish market structure. $430 might be a good price a few months down the line (or it might not), but right now, it is overpriced.

Anywhere under $1,000 is a good buy!
In a few years, they will say anywhere under $2,000 is good. Roll Eyes

Haha I wish that comment was now, not in the near future lol.

But yeah most of the users here already stating buy now, but theres never a really a good time to buy.

Op just ask yourself how you can reduce the risk if the price does drop and can you make up the difference.

The best price to buy is below $370 so that you can make more profit when the price reach again above 430. Don't expect for the price below 300 it will not happen because of halving started..

I don't think there is any good price to buy, as the price keeps on fluctuating so you cannot arrive at a decision that this is the best price to buy, as price might fall down tomorrow.

it all depends on what your intentions are. if you truly believe in the future of bitcoin and that it will see a significant higher adoption rate than now, then you can safely buy at these prices and hold your coins for a few years. you need to realize that it requires a lot dedication and steel balls to hold without panic selling as you will face huge dumps throughout the years.

Exactly, patience will pay you in long run, if you don't loose your temper and hold your bitcoins for future then you can earn some good profits, or else if you sell at lower price and suffer losses.

Anytime I would say bitcoin is a the best thing to buy Cheesy . But still if you want to make profit by selling it then around 400$ is good price . The usual price for bitcoins is near to 550$ and you can easily profit if bought at cheaper.

Depending on what will happen later this year even the current price can be good. In short-medium term it all depends on what will happen around the halving. Personally I expect some big hype and prices above $800, but of course I can be wrong.

Indeed, it really depends on what is gonna happen this next few years because of you long invested your bitcoin it will take some time but its not to predict right now.

I think we just have to wait till its so far, but now is still not possible to know that because everything can happen.

You never know. Looking at the history you could say that at some point every price below $1000 was a good point. Maybe 5 years from now they will say that every price below $2k was a good one.

The price that it is now is a good price to buy if you ask me, I think this is one of the best moments when you can buy bitcoins for a low certain amount, if you compare it with other months.
I think the bitcoin will only go higher from now so buying now is one of the best things you can do now in my opinion.

If you think the price will be higher than what you buy at, then its a good buy.

Before this upcoming halving, anything under $1000 is a good buy. Anything under $750 is a great buy. Under $500 is a terrific buy. Under $250 is spectacular. Under $200, sell the house, car, wife, kids, teh dog and goldfish.

Each and every price is good for a buy. The reason is in whatever price you buy bitcoin surely you will get certain profit. The profit varies according to the time period you hold it in your wallet.

That's pretty much how I thought for most of last year - price was ranging between ~$200 and ~£300, so I bought as much as I could when price was ~$200. I'm much less inclined to buy now, mostly because I've now spent the fiat I'd set aside for BTC!

However... right now price seems to be ranging again, albeit in a narrowing range, If price went down, to above $370, and then began to rise - I'd consider buying more. If price went down, below $370, I'd hold off and see what happened before making any decision. ($370 seems to be the very recent bottom - i.e. February 2016, ignoring the low in late January).

if it's below 200$ then of course it's good time to buy, if 300$, hen it's good time too, because price now is 430$ and still rising, so later might be too late for good price to buy

any price lower than $400 is an awesome deal but the problem is not what price is good, the problem is that if the price is going to go there before the next rise.

which i doubt it happens, the price is not going to under $400 unless someone pulls a Mike Hearn

Yep, but if you get it at 400$. Truth be told, it's not so much bad of a deal already. BTC value will keep on coming up.
