For this maybe bitcoin goes up until 3000$ but who knows its landing goes up to moon. As they said bitcoin goes landing to the moon i hope that too and many trader wait that time too. and to those big holders of bitcoin they wish that bitcoin goes to the moon and many holders become millionaire if that happen.

For me, BTC has moon landed already. I remember the time when its price crashed and people were panicking and now it is beyond everything people imagined at that time. However, to add something for the future, I think BTC will land on the next planet when reaching $10k. It will be the next big milestone in a logarithmic scale ))
True.  This moon thing doesn't really make sense, because Bitcoin is at a very high price right now to what you would expect it to be.  Bitcoin isn't suddenly going to have its price fly up to the stars forever, there needs to be a genuine grounding for it, and it'll go planet by planet.  Next stop, Mars, will be around $3-4k.
This figurative speech really is nothing, moon price huh? As long as I know the bitcoin price now is so high almost double the price of the bitcoin I used to get last year. Moreover, if its price spiked again these month, that is really good for me.

Yes there is nothing as such as moon landing here in bitcoin as of now all we can say is that bitcoin's value is increasing day by day and it will reach $3000 by the end of 2020 as per my calculation based on the trend of last 3 years.

But right now the node count is falling. Full nodes are dropping like flies and the network is growing more vulnerable every day.

hmm, aren't you a bit too dramatic?
according to https://bitnodes.21.co/ we have 6300 active bitcoin nodes right now. and whenever i check this site and the stats every now and them it is around the same number. actually it was 5000 nodes before.

so what do you mean by "right now node count is falling"?!!
yes the number of nodes is increasing and not decreasing. in fact as more and more time pass the need of modes to increase is in increasing because the traffic is increasing from time to time.

...? When people say the moon it's just saying basically the sky is the limit. There's no certain price that would be a moon landing. Maybe something ridiculous like 100k or 1M.

Your taking this post abit to serious, i do understand what it means to say we are going to the moon, i was just wanting to gauge what people thought was the price when bitcoin had made it.  and i dont think bitcoin will ever reach a million.
although it is looking difficult that bitcoin will reach to millions. but i think when the demand of bitcoin will increase more and more because people are continously investing their assets in bitcoin, then the demand of of bitcoin will increase while the supply will decrease and so that price can reach to millions and i do not think that we have to wait for such a long time to see the day.

When the price surges up like a rocket, that is bitcoin mooning. But that does not mean it will land to the moon. That price can get as high as you can imagine, but it will still be going up to the moon. There is no limit, no set price that means it landed to the moon. It means bitcoin know no limit in terms of price.

I hate people on here that don't simply get the point that Bitcoin can't go through this entire crazy blast off of it's price if it wants to be taken as a serious CURRENCY in the world that is going to be able to be used and adopted by most people who don't even fully understand how it works.

When people use Fiat Currency, they're using something in which they knows is going to be worth the same amount the next day (minus the obvious inflation that people know about) they don't want to use a currency like bitcoin that has such a volatile marketplace when it comes for what its worth.

Bitcoin needs to be stable, once people hope for this we'll be set.

It will never be a widespread currency. It simply ain't designed that way. Humans won't spend something that might be worth more tomorrow especially when they already have usd or whatever.

If satoshi had been realistic about that there would've been an eternal 1-2% inflation.

There isn't any immediate limit for the price of Bitcoin. Each Bitcoin could cost about $1,000,000 per coin and it wouldn't be enough to some people. If the people that purchase Bitcoin hold on to their coins for years then they wouldn't be yelling moon because they would be too busy shopping for Lambo's and other rich people stuff.
A bunch of guys and gals will be happy to see Bitcoin at a high price like that.

$1,000,000 is quite a bit of money lol.

so, if the sky is the limit, then $2000-$5000 for 1 bitcoin is fair enough to be moon landing because we cannot predict how much the price will be or in other words, we do not know the limit. 100k or 1M is too high for moon landing.

With all this talk of Bitcoin going to the moon, i was wondering what people think will be the moon landing price?  I think at $10,000 we have landed.  Need to get my moon boots ready.  Grin

moon is usually a big rise and doesn't have to be a specific number. usually when price goes up for example a 10-20% and people get a big profit in a short time they start saying it was moon.
but the real highest price in my opinion doesn't exist. as long as bitcoin is growing and getting adopted the price can go up even past 10,000

I would say over 1 million would qualify as a moon landing. 10 million would be deep space  Shocked

According to Wikipedia, the Apollo program cost around 25 billion in the 70's, so there you have it, the price for a moon landing Grin

There you have it, the price for a moon landing. hahaha Cheesy
Why dont we just wait what will happen? All we got to do is trust bitcoin. There are lots happened still here we are, still wanting to earn bitcoin and earn profit from them.

"We choose to go to the Moon!" was a speech delivered by JFK in 1962. Basically, it is to say that we are ready for challenges and going to achieve something very difficult...

Quote
We choose to go to the Moon! ... We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win ...

no one would think of landing moon and to the moon just review words that mean as the moon is above us (maybe). but if I think how the moon landing is $10,000 was too high probably around $2,000 for landings in this year

$10,000 for a single Bitcoin sounds about right. When or if Bitcoin reaches that number, the amount of USD will just keep flocking in and the price of Bitcoin will become more expensive to spend or purchase. I am sure that the moon phrase won't stop because once it reaches $10,001 newbies will be posting moon pictures and rockets.

For now I think that moon price would be $10,000 and after that is beyond the moon. I hope many people learn to hold their coins.

To the moon is just a saying. The point is that the price should keep rising without stopping. Nobody can put a price on the 'moon landing' as no matter what BTC price reaches (in USD terms) people will always want it to reach the moon. In other words, for some people the moon landing will be at $10k whereas for others it could be at $50k. It's all subjective and has no actual real set value.
