Atari’s much-delayed VCS console is getting blockchain games. A reimagining of the classic Atari 2600 console, the VCS is a $400 retro console featuring more than 100 old games, plus the ability to run current PC games. For blockcnain part they will work with Animoca. As part of the deal, Animoca also gains the right to be the “exclusive provider of blockchain content globally for the Atari VCS console” which will make the VCS, “the world’s first dedicated blockchain gaming game console”.
Animoca Brands will also have non-exclusive distribution rights for two years to sell the Atari VCS console in Asia (excluding Australia and New Zealand). The total value of the deal is up to $4.5 million, which Animoca will pay to Atari in its shares, although this amount will be recoupable against the royalties Animoca will pay to Atari for using its IP.

But why is the Atari team not interested in creating their own thread here? The last time that I saw this thread their token sale roadmap was like this -
there are so many rounds of pre-sale before the public sale. how much funds are you targeting here?
and the last 3 rounds has no dates yet, this is not good for potential investors because they have no idea when will they see this token to be listed in exchanges. unless, they will just use the token to your casino site. but with how things are happening right now, people are very careful in shelling out their money as the crisis is not over yet. and they don't know when will it be over.

And now their token sale roadmap is updated - It means this project is still active however, they have no direct staff here that can communicate with crypto users. They should think about creating one as their presale is ongoing. They should be accessible here as much as possible as this is one of the forums that has the largest number of crypto users.

So... today a few twitter posts popped up showing the new Atari VCS pc / console that will integrate the Atari Token in numerous ways.

The VCS haters are dismissing the pictures that popped up on Twitter today of a real finished VCS in a real box with real controllers.... because they dug a bit and found the pictures were posted on an account that was the daughter of a woman on the Atari Hotel project.

That makes no sense to me to talk trash because-
#1- it shows the console exists and it not vaporware.
#2- it also shows that the hotel project is indeed alive and well behind the scenes!!!!

I see on the website if Atari already has its own wallet and can store BITCOIN on the wallet. does atari token plan to have its own blockchain
