Yes, you will see a new ATH, but you will need to learn how to join and wait for it to happen. I strongly believe this will happen between now and 2024. IMO, Ethereum is a great cryptocurrency and as such, it will have huge supporters with the merge. The community of users will make Ethereum to rise ATH - with many utilities, dapps, etc. However, according to Vitalik Buterin, the Merge does not have value yet (https://en.cryptonomist.ch/2022/07/28/according-vitalik-buterin-merge-have-value-yet/). According to Vitalik, the price effects will certainly be there, but until 6-8 months after launch. I think the Ethereum team will ensure that Ethereum maintains its quality and trust which the coin have gained over the years and possibly grow to ATH.
that doesn't seem to be a real thing this year. It's very far from the new ATH. if you are betting in the merged announcement and you have made a mistake. Ethereum will not reach the new ATH if bitcoin didn't. The point is when you are seeing a big announcement was coming to the ethereum and it will not give huge impact like make ethereum to reach another ath again.bitcoin must have done another halving to reach another ath.

A pump will definitely happen that is for sure, but I am not so sure that we are going to see a new ATH for ethereum at that time.Ethereum will have to triple its current price just to barely go above its previous ATH and I am not confident something like that can happen so suddenly, still it is a good moment to buy some ethereum so you can take advantage of that pump, but I will try to avoid having such high hopes for the price of ethereum as I do not believe such an increase on its price is even possible.

I'm guessing that the merge gonna have low relevancy for the overall value of the eth, after all it's like the case of btc halving from my 2 cents, seems great though i'm sure it isn't gonna make the value went beyond so high.

One analysis I've read, it says maybe we'll get something like a pump for the short term. He said that for short term he's bullish but these effects would still have to go into balancing eventually.
But with such news and everything that seems to be positive for ETH, I'm bullish on it and whether it'll be back to its former ATH. Then, that's good to hear and see but I'm optimistic with the upcoming merge and its effect to the entire eth network.
As merging is set to create better opportunities and positive feedbacks, then I’m also optimistic that the upcoming merging will certainly bring ethereum into its new all time high. Although no one can perfectly foresee what’s ahead for ethereum, but if this upcoming merge is for a better cause, then I’m rooting for it, and believe that it’s set for a brighter future for ethereum network and its community. You are holding eth so you are very bullish on eth. But the reality is that it will take at least 5 years for ETH to reach $10k. maybe next ATH for Ethereum is $5k
Of course, the target of $10k is very realistic to reach ATH in the future because now the ETH network has resolved the complaint of high gas fees and we just have to wait for the time for the market to go up, from my analysis ETH includes the highest recovery reaching $2k, so it's an early indication about the next ATH.

If the ecosystem works perfectly and no bugs appear, then in 3-4 years such a price is possible. Prior to this, Ethereum worked stably for 7 years, except for the forced fork due to the hacking of the first DAO. The most difficult time will be after September 19 if the Merge goes through.

If you meant about monthly or weekly high and that might be possible but for ATH. that's still too far to be real. Merged has no impact to the price of ethereum. Yeah it goes at least 20% increase after the announcement but you must not forget that if ethereum was still following and what you can expect if bitcoin was still trading at the low price? if bitcoin will not reach ATH and ethereum will be doing the same thing like that.

I am not sure if we are "gonna see" ATH for ETH soon as the market is not fully recovered because it seems it is too difficult to recover in a short time. But you can still speculate to see ATH for ETH soon but you should have another plan if your speculation is not going to happen. I still think that ETH needs more time to rise or we can say recover step by step before or after the merge for ETH. If the investor is confident that the merge for ETH can bring a good thing for them, they will give their big support to ETH and that can help the price to start rising. Otherwise, we still need to wait and be more patient to see the price rise. 
Yesterday I sold most of my Ethereum because it reached a good price against Bitcoin and it hasn't happened in a while, so I don't expect it to continue going up unless the price of Bitcoin goes up.
In general, the currency looks promising, but in the current situation, I prefer not to invest in alternative currencies and almost sold 99%, but I will repurchase when the price drops against USD/BTC.

I also did the same thing 2 days ago, although I still lost when I sold my $ROSE coin, but I think that the current market has not shown consistency in the market transition period.

ETH is a good coin, its the top altcoin and for sure it will hit a new ATH in the right time, I'm sure in the next bull market, ETH will join the trend and make its new ATH again. Many are quiet disappointed with the updates of ETH, but that is already in the past and I'm looking forward now with a future updates of ETH. I'm still holding my ETH, worth it or not as long as I'm confident with my investment decision, then I will patiently wait for the result.
We've already seen how Ethereum could reach a good value especially when the price of Bitcoin goes up. It has shown great potential over the years so I believe that it could strike high and reach a new milestone of good price when the bull run approaches. It's still good to buy it now since it's worth holding for the long term. Looking at its past performance, one can imagine how much has been missed by not investing in this currency during the current market correction. Ethereum has been breaking through $1700 for a while and that provides a bit of optimism for many traders who were expecting more surprises to come from this digital coin. Of course, I believe it will go up because ETH is one of the currencies that brought bitcoin to its throne. My general take on Ethereum has always been that it probably is just as important for the whole cryptomarket and its evolution and development as Bitcoin itself. Of course Bitcoin basically created the whole crypto space because before Bitcoin there simply were not cryptocurrencies existent. Ethereum has brought a whole new dimension of opportunities and possibilities to the crypto market though with the introduction of the smart contracts. Without them we would not have Dexes, no tokens, no Defi and no NFT's.
I doubt though that we will see a new ATH for Ethereum anytime soon, because the whole market is just still to shaky for that to happen in my opinion.
