Hi everyone, I've decided to deposit 0.1 BTC to give this another try. This is the remainder of my BTC so I cannot really afford to lose this bet. Sad I received this bet from a popular tipster on Discord, so I hope he is right.
You are not supposed to gamble with money that you can't afford to lose, you should have learned this by now since you have been gambling for a long and even others have been telling you to stop but you didn't listen to anyone which is a big mistake.

You shouldn't let addiction cloud your mind and make you take steps that you shouldn't take. BTC0.1 might not be an extremely large amount but if it is all you have left and you can't afford to lose it then you shouldn't be gambling with it. You can't aim to make money through gambling using money that you can't afford to lose because losses in gambling are inevitable and one will surely experience both wins and losses when they get into gambling.

I do not think he has learnt his lessons yet because if he did,he would have been considering sourcing for the money he needs for his medical school through other means. Why is the thought of trying again with more coins even crossing his mind even when he knows he cannot afford to lose? If he strongly believes that gambling is the only way out for him, then he might end up not going to a medical school at all. His first trial is enough warning already, trying again is not bravery, but foolishness. Or is he addicted already and only using the medical school stuff as an excuse to gamble more? I pray he recovers soon from whatever is motivating him to lose more money through gambling.
Taking into account what she posts here, she had some gambling issues on the past and it is entirely possible she still has them even now, which is really sad as she claims to have obtained massive wins and that even those wins were just a small part of her capital at the time.

So now it is easier to understand why she was trying to pay for her medical school in this way, since she was trying to replicate some of the results she got in the past.

WTF dude.

This is exactly how a gambling addict looks a like, most people already told @OP to stop gambling and looking for other way to get the 1.7 BTC, instead of listen to majority opinions, he choose to make deposit and gamble with the amount that he can't afford to lose!

As we can see a gambling addict won't learn from his previous mistakes, moreover we didn't even know where @OP live, so we can't help him either.
We are watching live what we have known it happens behind closed doors, and even if I would like for the OP to make their dreams come true and reach the goal they are pursuing, this is not the way to do it and basically any red flag we could imagine is there.

He is betting with money he cannot afford to lose, he wants to make huge profits, he is chasing his losses and now he is not even using his own skills and now he is relying on a tipster, and unfortunately we know how a story like this will most likely end.

Indeed, said to see. And as I have stated before, seems like his "tipster" doesn't know what he is doing also.

The under 3.5 bet lost by a wide margin since Slovako won by 1:0, very far away from 4 goals in this one. Another 0.1 bit the dust, hopefully OP learned his lesson!

You like to chase that "over 3.5" bet.

Dude, you really need to change your approach, otherwise you will burn the rest of your money as well.
I doubt you have any clue about the leagues you are betting since they are so minor and totally random.

WTF dude.

I have had the same feeling as you. Basically the OP has ignored the advice we have given him and shows problem gambler behavior. He wanted to convert 0.05 Bitcoin into 1.7 and in the end has ended up losing 0.11 or so. He would have been better off saving that Bitcoin he had and looking for other ways to earn money to fund his Med school.

Dude, you really need to change your approach, otherwise you will burn the rest of your money as well.
I doubt you have any clue about the leagues you are betting since they are so minor and totally random.

That's like the worst thing you can do, bet on some small leagues ( which are easier to be fixed ) and have no clue about the teams in general.
So you went from USA -> Scotland -> USA -> Japan ->South Korea -> Czech Republik , that looks really random. In case you are paying a tipster for all these picks you maybe should reevaluate if this person is the right one to trust your betting with.  Tongue

By the way, I don't see any bad beats, most bets that lost wear quite easy losses, maybe one where 1 goal was missing with 35min to go can be called that but yeah. Football is so unpredictable, better try basketball.  Wink

PS: I don't know why you would post an address for tips for these terrible picks, haha.

You like to chase that "over 3.5" bet. I took a look at the stats, both teams seem to be playing with a lot of goals. If statistics are to be believed, you have a good chance of winning this bet. I had a feeling that you would continue with high bets, once you start it's hard to go back to smaller bets... not interesting enough, missing that excitement, and the profit we expect is unsatisfying.

Well, good luck SavingForMedSchool, I am cheering for you!

Thanks. I may try again soon, with smaller amounts. Or one big amount, I'm not sure yet. I just want to achieve the goal. I could probably try with 0.1 BTC but then I would be dipping into money I cannot afford to lose. Sad

Even if you were good at sports betting, which doesn't look like it, you should have a very good bankroll management, and yours is pitiful. Think about whether it would not be better to save the money you are thinking of betting too much and earn money in other ways to finance your med school studies.

I don't know much about sports betting but to get to 1.7 Bitcoin in poker starting from 0.05 you should spend a lot of time playing and the bets should not go over 0.002 (that in full stacks playing cash but in most plays you win or lose less than that).

You are gambling, what you are doing has nothing to do with what a serious sports bettor would do.

Hi everyone, due to my first 2 bets being bad beats, I've decided to redeposit 0.05 BTC, this will be my last try. Smiley

Congratulations on this win. Brave bet, no doubt about that, you went all in and luckily you won. I didn't expect you to do something like this, but you did it. Smiley

Unfortunately 0.1 BTC will not get me through even one semester. Sad

Well, don't push too much. I think it's not the time to become too greedy, you recovered your losses and maybe you should continue to play with some smaller bets... But of course, it's up to you, whatever you decide to do I wish you a lot of luck. I really hope you rock the casino and take their money. Good luck man! And think about changing your username to "GamblingForMedSchool"! Smiley

Like what @LFC_Bitcoin says , you are a smart guy and has a lot for future so try to save your money in a better way than risking in gambling , this may serve you a lesson that you cannot fasten things instead do it slowly but surely , gambling is a place just to have fun and not to rely everything for your future.

You have a great run here and that is more than enough for you to understand what should be the better option for you and for sure this is not from gambling.

Goodluck to your future action and hope we will not seeing this same thread again.

If you have the discipline you could keep going on the attempts to form a good record.   You make the bets by just doing paper bets or pencil and paper write down your estimates for a bet.

Keep a virtual book of your progress, some people cant do this and also relate it to a real bet for actual crypto/cash.  Its good practise though imo

The other idea would be live bets since you are in the sports bet realm.  Sometimes I see very good value bets appear live but it requires alot of attention and good certainty to the swings in odds during a game.   People like to cash out during a game and this is why this special market exists, its also true people give up too early mid game and there is definite opportunity for good wins.   Its probably more risk and certainly more effort tbh.

I'm admiring your bravery to do these challenges @OP and even though your target is ridiculously high but still you try and that's important there. To many lesson need to learn from your experience so hopefully you get some knowledge from this and for next time around when you decide to bet then you can do more better performance next time.

We also appreciate your will to win the amount mentioned so what I could able to suggest is to slow things down and don't rush to place huge bets since this is risky much better to use your money wisely, Don't set hard to achieve targets since it will make you expect for something that hard to reach so stay in focus since its important on gambling. I know OP its hard to lose that way but its part of the process so do better approach and deal gambling in more realistic way.

Doesn’t seem like it’s going very well OP. You’ve made 5 bets and lost 4 of them, maybe it’s a good idea you stopped. You're obviously a really smart guy with your medical school plans, a lot smarter than me any way.

I wish you the very best of luck with your studies. If you return to gambling do it with smaller amounts for fun.

I guess OP has stopped already, according to the first post.

I think his choice of bets also showed that he was just making an experiment and his major plan wasn't based off on whether or not he's successful with this attempt or route, because his bets were somewhat improbable and illogical statistically, at least that's from my perspective. So it's safe to say OP was just betting for fun, but had he won would have been a huge added advantage for him, and wasn't a make or mar for his medical school dream decision for him.

Please don’t, Just save the money and buy Bitcoin instead of using it for gamble for a chance to grow it with extreme risk involved or just continue on what you are doing to earn money for your med school.

I took a loan way back in my college days since our government offer this before for college students. I just pay it back slowly after I graduated and earning from my job salary. Just find an educational loan like this since I’m sure your country has this because I’m from a 3rd world country yet we have this program.

Just gamble if you already have a job. Don’t waste your money on gambling if there’s more important purpose for that.

Nice try I hope you're ok and still fine, I know you posted that you are ok with whatever may come but as a gambler myself, it still hurts because you have a plan in case you win, and it's not a small amount, in our country its a six-digit figure and a five-month salary of a minimum wage earner here.

Don't come back right away with the mindset of chasing your losses, take your time, enjoy your blessing but don't save money for gambling use it for something worth pursuing like your education and I still say even though it has been said a thousand times before
