i got scammed by etherdelta . they have stolen all my tokens and ethereum from my ethereum wallet . i shared my private key via "import my account " on

can any one please tell me , if above link is a fake link or i have been scammed by ether delta.
i saw my transaction on ethrscan.io , all my stolen money is transfered to etherdelta's wallet for the conversion from ethereum token to ethreum. and then it was transfered to another wallet which has ethereum worth 65,000$ .
can any one suggest me , how can i file a complaint against etherdelta??

Too bad that my friend have been scammed by that type of thing.He said it looks like the etherdelta.It seems just as its look but then he still continued to type his private key,then woolah all of his tokens and altcoins are stolen.Poor him.
It's not just the fake etherdelta to be weary of. I had .6 ETH in proceeds from a sale stolen from the real etherdelta.

I suspected that they got the e-mail address from the forms we sign up in the airdrops or bounty perhaps. There are also some airdrops/bounties that do not hide the e-mail address of those who signed up that's why it is just easy for those scammers to get the addresses. If we are not careful then our accounts would be hacked and coins lost. There are a lot of them and better to bookmark the sites we usually use than just immediately clicking the links from those e-mails we received.
Hackers are going full time with their job nowadays and EtherDelta is not only their objective but all popular exchanges. We can stop this by having awareness and enough knowledge that is what I'm applying right now and that's why I am not one of those accounts that are hacked by their phishing method.

I also received some junk emails, but I did not fall for it, initially almost clicking on the link in that email. a little worried about it because I have a lot of registering on some sites, and now many are used by hackers, many thanks for all of you who are in this forum always remind to always be careful
Man, these phishers are getting more and more advanced day by day. We all are registered on so many sites, that it becomes difficult to remember which asks for email and which not. But thanks for the warning. Hopefully after reading your message a lot of users would be saved from getting hacked.
Thank you for the heads up, although I have not receive this kind of email I'm glad I've read this thread to be aware. There are a lot of fake exchanges and websites circulating around already and I can't believe Etherdelta has a fake website too.

Not so long time ago I received a letter:
"Your EtherDelta account has been accessed from a new IP address"
There was a fake link in the message.
The fake address different from the original one by a single character, there was a hyphen "-" between the words "ether" and "delta".
The interface of the fake website was 99% match the original. If I was careless I would enter my private key to log in, I think at the same time would have lost all of my ether and tokens. But I was careful. I recalled that I never entered any e-mail addresses on EtherDelta.
How would EtherDelta know my e-mail address if I never provided them?
It was a Scam 100%.
If you ever recieve any e-mail from EtherDelta be sure that it is a Scam. The only authorization on EtherDelta is your private key from your Ethereum wallet. There are no passwords, no e-mail, no usernames, no logins needed to enter EtherDelta.
Always check the website address!
And better save all the important addresses to bookmark and come only from there.
I'm glad that you did not fall for it. Sometimes people easily get convinced when everything looks exactly the same. Whenever I received an email that came from any of my account that has an amount stored, I delete them right away.
Phishing attempts has been rampant nowadays. Thank you for the warning OP because I also read some stories who got phished because they are not careful. One also of the phishing attempt is the e-mail from slack regarding the update of MEW wallet but since I've been warned, I don't open those e-mails and delete them immediately. Another attempt would be when searching a site in google. Usually the top-most part is an advertisement and I notice that sometimes it shows the same wording as the original but when you look at the address, there is one character that is different and if you are not careful enough, your funds would be stolen. The safe way would be to bookmark the site you often visit so that you don't need to search it.
I have received a lot of pishing emails today, one from Xapo, another from Etherdelta and two more from MyEtherwallet and Poloniex, it seems that those bored hackers really want to stole some accounts, i dont know why they are still trying to do this kind of things because they are not going to scam anyone.
They are not even able to access to the account if they have a different IP+proxies, so i dont know why they are always trying to do some pishing over our accounts.
They are dumb as fuck, but i dont know, they are never tired of doing the same.

Am sure these scam attempts work on people new to such wallets which is why its important to look them up through google or get more information about them from high reputable websites like this forum or Reddit to know about these new scams and also know the correct domains for the websites.

I received that email from fake etherdelta too in spam email I know this is scam email, how can etherdelta knows my email its no need to put our email once we import our account in etherdelta, well scammers will do anything to steal our tokens and eth. I doubt one of scam airdrops behind this so careful guys.
Thanks for the post. It will really helps us a lot. Nowadays phising sites are bothering us. If we don't see the site name properly and started to work we can loose all of our money.Though I always enter in my bookmarked real etherdelta site. I think it is the best way to prevent these problems and ignore phising mails.

Wish it were possible to Password- protect Private keys. The current method is way to easy to be abused.
