Sounds like a plan! Let's hope I can get a coin for a nice price in the next auction. Grin

Alright, so the 2nd auction was epic once again! Now I'm almost finished with the aftermath and soon it is time to start the 3rd, FINAL auction.

Everybody chose A serials this time which means the serials reserved for these coins so far are:

A1-28
L4000-4001
E1000-1001
M1-3

Quick update. Due to the issues with Bitcointalk finalizing this auction has taken a bit longer and the 3rd, final auction might be delayed slightly.

Handling the aftermath of this auction has been a bit slow. Sorry about that. But I will contact everyone in time.

No problem.

I'm confused on the different series. My understanding was you could buy the coin either loaded or empty. Can you explain in more detail what the different series means?

A = Auction. Coins with A serials can only be won from auctions, not sold at our website. The coin itself can be either loaded, empty and it can be optionally equipped with multisig.
L = Loaded coins. These are coins that will always be loaded by us and you pay the bitcoin value on top if you buy one of these.
E= Empty coins. These coins are always empty from the factory & the user can optionally load the coins with bitcoin value themselves.
M = Multisig coins. These coins are equipped with a multisig solution that requires the buyer to submit his own Bitcoin address/key. A "trustless" coin, ultra secure. Can be bought as empty or loaded.

Gotcha, thank you!

Like I said before, I'll reship coins to anyone, as long as they pay for shipping. Grin

Congrats for the winners! That auction was exciting. The correct winners can be found here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12887497.

I will contact all winners within the next 24 hours, one after the other. Starting with the highest bidder. Then you each choose the serials you want (A, M, L,E) for your coins. And we'll also calculate the shipping cost based on your shipping country.

Then the winners have another 24 hours to pay for the coins. And then we have a small breather, before:

The next & FINAL auction. The final one will likely be launched on Friday and ended on Wednesday just like this one.

If you guys have any questions, please ask away.

technically there was a guy that was willing to pay over 1.1 btc for each coin in the first one but he didn't because the bidding didn't have the same format as here. that is why we all sat around for 45 minutes . at the time I think 1.1 was worth over 300 dollars for just once coin so we paid a little less than that guy was willing in terms of dollars. But those were lower number coins

Interessting that the recent bitcoin rally didn't effect the bids of the auction very much. In Fiat terms the top winner of the 2nd auction paid nearly the same price as the one of the first. Didn't expect that! Shocked

Well..my guess is: you buy the coin with BTC, the coin has a BTC value, when you want to sell a coin you sell it for BTC. So Fiat doesn't matter (to me anyway).

Damn. I thought auction only ends after there are no new bids in 3 mins  Cry
That is correct and your bid was outside the 3 minute range. Thedewpoint posted at 21:31:40 and you at 21:35:13. That is a difference of 3 minutes and 33 seconds.

Technomage, be sure to check the list and happy sales. I'm not sure if I'm going to help out with the 3th and last auction. I've been doing nothing else but updating the list and refreshing the page during the last 50 minutes.
