Well I was gonna stay out of this and simply not respond but now I just can't help myself. We keep running around in circles and circles and it's beyond annoying now. Nobody wants this coin at 1.2BTC. We all understand that you feel it's worth that yet the marketplace CLEARLY disagrees. So you're beyond annoying most of us at this point. I'll take this coin off your hands for 0.90BTC if you want to sell it. I'm now backing out of my first offer of 1.07BTC because I'm not happy with that anymore(That appears to be the common thread here no pun intended ). I feel I should get it for 0.90BTC. Full escrow with MJ. Seriously man just do whatever you need to do on eBay but nobody here is ever gonna buy your coin for more than 1.05BTC at best IMO at which point if you're selling at that price then Lesbian Cow absolutely should have dibs on it at that 1.05BTC. If you don't want to deal with LC because they don't get back to you quick enough then you have my bid now which is a strong 0.90BTC due to the annoyances associated with it.

The part for me that is neg worthy is the auction winning at 1.07 and then the subsequent pm asking for the auction winner to pay 1.1xx.  Lulz imagine winning something on Ebay then getting a message asking you to pay a couple hundred $ more than what you won it for 

To be clear, I offered you higher prior to this auction beginning not after it started nor ended.  Once you began this auction you committed to sell to the highest bidder in the auction.  You accepted shadalloin's bid when you quoted them as the high bidder.  You owe shadallion the coin at the auction ending high bid of 1.07.  Anything else is unacceptable.

Edit to add timeline from my end:  GTA24 listed the scratched up coin for sale.  I sent PM offering 1.2 btc. They declined that offer and began an auction at 1.2 btc.  Auction had no bids.  GTA24 then sent me a message saying they would take my 1.2 btc, I declined and counter offered at 1.1xx.  They declined.  They then began another auction which shadallion won at 1.07 btc.  GTA24 then sent me a message offering me the coin at 1.1xx.  I ignored as auction had ended with shadallion winning.

Your a little bent because I gave you a negative feedback, and you gladly sent me one.  Stopped backing out of auctions and it wont be an issue. Cheers

Because it's a waste of time.  How do I know if I bid on one of your auctions, you will honor it.  I can only assess what i see.  And i just see an auction backed out of.  Is what it is, and if everyone is allowed to just back out of auctions and cancel whenever, this place becomes a worthless mess.

no, yes i understand. I wish the people who are annoying me are the potential buyers. I have put this same coin for auction 3-4 times. these same people just telling me their opinions and never bidding. - thats another reason im so annoyed because if they are not bidding, why are they talking? right

- and if you look at the post. It was my fault I put it up for 7-day auction. and I had no idea I would be stuck at work (crazy week). Like if you're selling why wouldn't I be there for the last hour? my last post was in the morning 10 hours before the last day.

and yes i was trying to find a way to close the thread because HONESTLY, i felt bad because i have the same post about this coin 3-4 times now. I thought it would annoy people. But somehow i cant delete any posts. so i messaged the administrator.

and i was just explaining what happened, and everyone just went in with their opinions.
i should have said auction was canceled or something- i am a newb so i didn't understand I just wanted to close the thread. and start fresh. so it didn't annoy everyone.

Tagged this user unfortunately.  No room for nonsense auctions here.  Set the price at which you are comfortable letting it go for and honor your bidding.  If you want to decline a person's bid do it right away not in the end when it doesnt hit the price you want.  These auctions are a waste of time and valuable internet space.

You have to understand GTA24 that this is a self-enforced community. It is an unfortunate necessity that all participants keep a very close eye, particularly on new buyers/sellers, because scams or other fraudulent activity could occur and hurt the community at-large. I am not saying that you are one of the scammers.

I think in this particular instance, there are a number of questions surrounding this auction that are causing confusion. Remember, the people here talking in this forum and annoying you are also the potential buyers. Perhaps more than most since they are the frequenters. Questions such as:
-Why would you initially accept Shadallion's bid / not refuse his bid before auction closure? What changed between the initial bid and end of auction?
-Given a refusal of Shadallion's bid, LC would have won with his bid, how does this impact the results?
-No notice of failure of auction was given before listing reappeared on eBay - optically this could look like a double-sale scam attempt - can you understand this?

It is hard to reconcile a winner of an auction not wanting it anymore with a seller who has turned down higher offers than the auction results...

I don't feel as though I am articulating all of this the best, but hopefully at least a bit of clarity is gained.

Stick to ebay. Any sales or auction threads you post here will not end the way you think they will.

NOONE GOT SCAMMED PERIOD

Here is the exact moment you accepted the bid by shadallion. His red trust has been there since 2017 so it isn't like it sprung up on you. Re-reading the reasoning behind TMAN's red trust it was never determined to have been shadallion actually trying to scam.. more than likely it was theft by delivery person.. I myself would exclude his bids regardless to save myself any headache.


If you did then decide to exclude shadallion from bidding then this now becomes the highest and very much expected to be honored bid:

Pick one of the two if you want to be welcome on the Collectibles board. If not you can find an ebay forum to make friends in.
I also expect a resolution within 24 hours from this post or I will be leaving red trust.

You are owed this Ugly Cas for the 1.07BTC.  If the OP doesn’t honor it.  They’ll never be trusted to sell anything here ever again.  I’m guessing they don’t care as this is probably the only one they have.  Either way, one less scammer in our board.

OP should honor the bid.  I have auctioned things here plenty of times that went under my "want" price, some went over.  Either way it was honored, otherwise you are wasting valuable internet space.
