My 2017 Titan coin carries a "good" firstbits (same as its address) and

I feel lucky, for some reason I documented & saved  my public addresses back when the Titan website was up,  I think in the back of my mind I didn’t like that I had to depend on someone else for this info and for the website to stay active Ect. “Never Trust, verify.” 😬

I think the older 2014’s PK all have the issue with not being able to look up the public key outside of the Titan website, but it is a PK version based on COA. I had one with same issue. The Titan website would give you the full public address when you entered the COA “ID” #. Not possible to obtain now.

Some PK versions were never funded. People keep getting this wrong. I believe once you verify the address however you can always tell if this was the case. Just an FYI.

Thank you both, but I still don't follow a bit...
The site is dead. So what now?
Is there some database or mechanism to get the address from the "fyPcLJVM"?
Or this code is not sufficient and you need some other info that's beneath the holo to get the address?
Or is the PK itself somehow necessary to get the address?

Personally I was unaware he made this version until MJ noted that, so it's "news" to me, or maybe i just don't remember, I was never really a fan, I have just watched the saga unfold and gotten sucked in somehow. Tongue

I would consider this a crapshoot unless it was peeled, because, no - there is no database available anymore - Tim lost btc at MTgox, and is currently paying out "verified holders" of 2FA coins at the rate of .48 per dollar, afaik. Huh

MJ, jsut curious how many you have seen of these successfully peeled etc?

I haven't followed that monstrosity of a thread on Titans...
Can someone just confirm:

1) There never was a real issue with this kind of PK Titan.
2) Rest of the address is under the holo along with key, so it's easy to redeem.
3) Without knowing the rest of the address you can't really check the loading though.

Correct..?

1) Correct
2) No, these earlier made Titans used a code like the 2FA coins where you would enter it on the Titan website and it would display the regular bitcoin address
Yes, there is a private key underneath the hologram...easy to redeem Smiley
3) Correct

1. No, not yet to the best of my knowledge.
2. Yes (Usually, see next answer)?.
3. Personally I'm confused on the funding here - Paper cert says for firstbits FyPcLJVM (No match on walletexplorer.com)? - Coin shows as fyPcLJVM (Also no match on walletexplorer.com)? Huh Also, scanning the coin brings me to dead page on titanbtc. We sure this is actually a PK, or did he fuck it up and it's really 2fA? Tongue

edit - if it's 2FA, it's only worth like what, .48 cents on the dollar? Fuckin' Tim Fillmore is a scumbag (sorry). Roll Eyes

Is it loaded right?

In case of winner's wish, coin can be graded on ICG or anacs through you?

Yes, the coin should be loaded.

The coin can be graded by ICG or PCGS through me... I offer both companies services Cheesy
ANACS no longer graded physical crypto coins/tokens
