I don't see why anyone wouldn't choose for an A serial though.

Well, for example it's possible to get the Multisig serial #1. As it would be the first Multisig Denarium ever. Also the E's start at 1000 which is kind of nice. The L starts at 4000 which is also a nice, round number. Smiley

So there are reasons to choose a non A hologram especially if you win, let's say, the top 2 spots. Then you can choose both. Cheesy

But enough talk.

ONLY 15 MINUTES LEFT.

Will all auctioned coins have A serials?

Not for this auction as I don't want to contradict the OP that seriously. Meaning that anyone can still take the E, L or M serials as outlined in OP.

For auctions #2 and #3 I'm fairly sure it will be A serials only.

For instance we are going to launch later a SE edition of this coin which will have a handmade gold finish. This will be an extremely small batch, 50 in total. And initial plan is to auction 10 of them. Those will have serials 51-60, for example.

If only 50 coins will be auctioned, why have the extra digits in the serial number?  Why not just A01 - A50?

Only 50 coins will be auctioned for the 2015 edition of our 1 BTC coin. It does not mean we won't auction other coins in the future, using the same serials. For example we ordered 300 serials from the manufacturer in case we are going to auction other coins next year.

Oh, Technomage. I'll send you a full list of bids sorted by date and the bids that generated when the auction finishes. Should make your work a lot easier. Tongue

What you have been doing is VERY much appreciated. You'll be rewarded for it.

Thank you!

And just to clarify, the first A serial is 1 or more specifically 00001. It is special since it is, in a sense, the first auctioned Denarium ever.

If everybody chooses A serials, then the 50 coins we auction in these 3 auctions will be A00001-A00050.

If only 50 coins will be auctioned, why have the extra digits in the serial number?  Why not just A01 - A50?

I have the same question too.
