Reread the whole thread and noticed the 0.02BTC increment.

Just for anyone making other offers to Tradefortress, he has PMed me with a 'compromise price' offer which I have accepted. I will therefore be getting 90 of those 275 shares (at a loss for me but them's the breaks).

I would rather like to retract my bid too. As TF says, we are expected to stick to them though.

TF, would you be willing to permit my retraction if b!z wants to jump back in?
b!z, would you want to jump back in?

If the answer to either of those is no, then I guess I just have to suck it up.  Sad

No, I'm out for now. Sorry mate.

I think it is on sellers to be more descriptive when posting auctions.  With clear rules regarding bidding withdrawls and other details.  You can't honestly expect much when an auction description is two lines of text.  Having said that bid retractions based on price alone reflects poorly on the person doing it.

I don't think you need to state that withdrawing bids is bullshit.  Anybody who visited blockchain.info/pools last week knew what was going to happen.
Possibly but again more clear rules couldn't hurt.  For example say I bid and get outbid then the bidder who outbid me fails for whatever reason.  Is my bid stil binding on me?

Nope.  Unless they somehow prove you made a sock to outbid yourself.

Does the first bid actually count thats yours? id like to bid however a bit hard to take it seriously when I have no idea if this is actually a loan or just your shares that you are trying to get a better price for,

Bity and Nancarrow have already beat my bid, so I think I will stop here. Good luck with the auction.
