being a numbered set that was paid at a premium over the regular sets, there should be a way to match the numbers either with custom making the wallets with new SN or at least let them keep the erroneous set as well as receive a lower valued standard set.

Couldn't the issue of reprinting a serial be resolved by changing the serial from AA to AB or by adding a special mark to the wallet itself? As an example, Polymerbit does this when packages go missing and reprints have to be made.

On a happy note, I'm pleased to announce that the PURE Series is finally being released! They will be released within the next 24 hours (at around 10:00 pm Eastern Time, on Thursday, July 22).

The first product:




This above is the PURE Series Signature Set, and will consist of the 2 cards in the wooden case: the One Bitcoin and the One-Tenth Bitcoin. The cards are not loaded; and then intention is for the customer to load the BTC themselves, in the denomination amount.

The price of this PURE Series Signature Set is USD $499. And there is a limited edition, with 500 sets total worldwide.

My opinion:

I think it's fine when you all have high standards, and want high quality products. That's absolutely fair.
And when a company doesn't deliver the high quality products to your expectations, it's absolutely fine to complain, and demand better. You should always have a choice to not purchase the defective/sub-standard product.

That said, what's NOT fair, is to troll and attack people personally.
If the company doesn't perform, blame the company. (Don't blame an individual; don't blame the messenger who's trying to help communicate issues.)

In that trolling image from 2018, you troll BTCC, and you make it a personal attack by putting my name there.
That's not cool, and that's why I took it personally.

Be mature. If you want an engaging conversation and long term relationship, then pay the respect. No one is asking you to be a yes-man. If you just whine and demand the world, then at best, expect to be treated like a child, or at worst, you'll be ignored.

I've taken time to explain the background of the situation. No one would come to a conclusion that any of the mistakes or mishaps were intentional on our part. It's all about how we handle the aftermath. Yes, I realize that. I think we've done our part to give compelling options. And if not, then please be constructive and give me additional options, without sounding like you demand the world.

And stop complaining that I only want yes-man. That's certainly not true, and I welcome debate and discourse. What I don't like, is whining, personal attacks, and slamming personal reputation.

for (B), this was also unanticipated and we are regretful that this happened, causing scratches on cards for some of you. We have since improved the packaging for shipment, adding a foam layer inside the box, to prevent the same issue of the wallet cards being shaken out of the acrylic box during shipment.

Regardless of the (A) or (B) issue, our best offer is to give you a full refund. You can ask for a replacement, but do know that it will be without the gilt, and that the serial number will no longer be in the range of #01-21.

Just remember: if you ARE NOT satisfied with what you got, then you are welcome to return the product for a full refund. If you ARE satisfied and DO decide to keep it, then please understand that it's your decision to do so. In other words, we are NOT FORCING any of you to keep and accept a dissatisfactory product.

So just to clear, Ballet admits that their packaging process was flawed and my options are;
- Replace my set for a cheaper and different product,
- Get a full refund and not have this special set,
- Keep the damaged product and that's it.

I fully understand that this is a difficult situation, but please see this from my perspective as well. I bought a premium product with a specific serial number, which means that I do not want to settle for a different product (and serial) nor do I want to return or even sell my set, as I like the set itself. Gilded items are my all time favorite thing to buy. All I want is the exact product I have right now, just in a non-damaged form, but that doesn't seem possible, since Ballet doesn't reprint serials, which I can understand to a certain extend.

In the end this all means that I don't really have a choice, except keeping the damaged set I have, so I will, even if that comes with an aftertaste.

Is it really trolling if a meme picture I made 3 years ago can apply to the products you're launching still to this day?

When I buy from a company or creator what I look for is passion in their work.. sadly with Ballet you seem to want to be surrounded by "yes men" and the fire seems to be fading.

From my short time here on the forum, I have always seen Bobby being one of most supportive towards the collectors and also giving a strong backing to his current and past products. I don't think there is any doubt that they are not trying to make it right, it's just the expectations of collectors are little different than options provided by Bobby.

I did like both the options that tweetious provided and seems like the most viable. one of them is same as what Bobby/MJ provided and the other one is little different but gives an option to buy another set of 1BTC/.1BTC cards.


1) return the product and get full compensation (in the exact amount paid in BTC). Ballet will also cover all returning shipping fees (+ initial dispatching shipping fees?), for the items to get returned back to Minerjones (both domestic and international shipping fees, depending on the original destination that MJ did the reshipping of the packages).

2) Customers that would prefer to keep their "defective" products, will receive an additional voucher of an $xxx amount (with 1 year validity time), that can be used to acquire current and future items from the ballet site. Customers will keep the limited edition items (with all the possible defects) and get partial compensation (depending on the voucher amount) for their defective products. For example, someone could keep their limited edition silver card (with defects) and use the voucher to purchase another silver card (non limited edition with a random number). Alternatively, they could get any other products of their interest from the site. (each person have different needs, hence someone might get more personal value acquiring the "A" item rather than the "B" item from the site.)
