So is it sold now
?

No. Accepting offers in PM, though.

Regarding self bidding: There are various ways to do auctions. The auctioner can bid on the item he's auctioning and it is not unfair (at least IMO.)

Then why even bother having an auction?
I can sell myself my own coins all day long...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Meh. Self-bidding 0.72

Unfair

Why did you start an auction if you can't accept low offers?
You should accept the last offer (TheNewAnon135246 = 0.71BTC)

I agree. What's the point of an auction when you bid on it yourself?

Instead of self bidding he could have set a reasonable starting bid. Don't know why everyone sets the face value as starting bid...

Goodbye, Z.
That's because EDT is in effect, adding an hour to the EST timezone (starting on March 12th).
That's if you're asuming that EST and EDT are the same timezone, which they are not.
EST is still at the same UTC offset (-0500), EDT is also at the same (-0400).
Those places that switch to EDT in sommer change their timezone, but EST doesn't change it's offset.

6PM EST equals 10PM GMT (forum time). I think the confusion here is that EDT is in effect.
worldtimebuddy.com tells me it "auto-corrected" EST to EDT.

EST has an UTC offset of -0500 (EDT has -0400).
6PM EST equals to 11PM UTC (which equals to the same time in GMT).

Technically the auction should've ended on 10pm GMT. It's weird to ignore daylight savings time while it is being used in the EST time zone. I don't want to start an argument here so I guess I'll wait for the next auction  Undecided

@OP, did I win the auction with my 0.69 bid? Did str4wm4n should've placed his bet on 10:09:59 PM (forum time) instead of 10:10:00 PM (which is the start of the 11th minute).

Maybe I'm just misreading the rules Grin.

It is not 6PM yet.

why not set a reserve or a higher starting price.  and its past 7pm est right now.  just reading through and trying to figure this one out.

Yeah, I should've set a higher starting price or reserve. The auction time was extended by 10 minutes as the auction rules say, so the auction ends in about 2-3 minutes.
