I will buy the silver that s1lverbox wants refunded if possible.
Minerjones please hold for me. Thank you
minerjones will be unavailable for a couple days, but that will work.  When s1lverbox posts a refund address you can just pay it.  The silver will be yours.  MJ will be back Sunday night or Monday morning to verify if need be.

Facts:
This was not an exit scam for less than 0.05BTC
I have spoken to KY and there was nothing malicious about this.
I believe what we discussed and I promise you would not have wanted to be in his shoes.

The silver is en route to minerjones.

What I ask of you:
Please don’t destroy KY’s rep over this.  Once things are made right, please change all red trust to neutral.  It’s not deserved and my word about the situation being awful should be good enough.  I don’t believe he should have to broadcast his unfortunate situation to everyone either.

In regards to the Facts - There is one that is pertinent to this situation at the moment. Is there tracking information showing the auction items are en route. The other points are opinion and speculation, and delve more into the personal matters that we are not discussing.

For the rest, I'm not pissed by any means, a little disappointed in the communication and uncertainty, and I feel that is justified. I held off on the Red trust as I do understand things get in the way, could be small could be big, hard to tell when you are just left out of the loop. So I reached out a few times and it became clear that Killyou did not feel an update was necessary. Perhaps they made poor choices in posting to a Ban Appeal thread as opposed to communication with people they have an agreement with. That bothered me and is why I felt it necessary to leave Negative Feedback. That doesn't mean it's staying forever, I clearly stated it will be changed once the terms of the auction are met. I also feel this would have been better again as a message from OP.

I agree they didn't need to broadcast the personal situation but I would have appreciated something as simple as:

"Hey everyone sorry but I have some personal stuff to deal with at the moment, It's going to be 6-8 weeks before I can address this. If you want a refund let me know"

Quote
Options:
I will refund anyone tired of waiting and your purchased silver will go to LC.
Wait a little longer and understand life gets REALLY gets in the way sometimes.

I'll happily wait for my auction items, it's not time sensitive. Hopefully whatever is going on with Killyou they come through it okay.

Wallet was emptied without hesitation. I can understand that sometimes we can run in to the problems. BUt if there is enough time to empty wallet there should be enough time to write a simple post.

Leaving negative feedback is our right and if i feel this situation was bad enough to leave negative it will stay that way.
Please cancel my bid, and refund all bitcoins to my wallet.

If we didn't do what we did in the thread till now nobody would even care to let us know whats the deal.
I am tired of constant excused of people. If this guy choose to auction coins and was keeping an eye on this thread for so long he should finish it the same way we all finished it by sending btc when he posted wallet. Simple as that.

Thanks for info but i will not wait or will not take a chance that coins winnings will never show up.

I understand.  You have every right to say no, just as I have the right to ask.
I believe your total was for these 3 items:
Lot 16 "last batch ever made" :  0.00165 BTC s1lverbox
Lot 17:  0.00165 BTC s1lverbox
Lot 18:  0.00165 BTC s1lverbox
for a total of 0.00495BTC

please post a refund address for me, thank you.

I understand there are a lot of pissed off people in this thread and I have no interest in getting into a pissing match with anyone.  I’m going to present some facts.  I’m also going to offer some options.  Finally I’m going to ask for something of you guys.

Thanks

Being nice and using our prayers/hopes/dreams isn't working. I'm kinda disappointed in the lack of red trust givin to OP.

You'd rather support someone who starts an auction for his joke of a coin collection because hes been a funny/interesting guy in the past... someone who has been in contact with minerjones and arranged an alternate shipping method ( I assume it was to mail all to MJ and he divvy out the coins as per auction wins ) but hasn't happened. ( also could have told MJ about illness/family problems but failed to mention anything wrong )

Show some support to the few names that we don't see in collectibles as much, maybe this was the beginning of it all, to get them hooked into our physical coin collecting. Starts with some silver, ends with some Casascius/Kialaras/Lealanas.

The main thing that gets me is killyou72 was so fast to toss up a payment address, then empty that wallet. These guys paid him. Should they have used escrow? Yes. But that does not excuse the actions of killyou72. In this case I believe an escrow would already be sending funds back to the bidders/winners.

Point taken, I am leaving red trust now.

I agree, dropping red trust now, I was waiting for this to play out but doesn't seem to be a good ending.  Killyou, ship the coins man, everyone here has paid.  Undecided

Worse comes to worse red tags can be removed. If he did indeed pull an exit scam this makes it so his account can not be sold as a cherry on top.

While I don't think there was any ill intentions on part of the OP, I am thinking their real life has had some event that may have prevented them from fulfilling their obligations to the winners/bidders

That was the impression I got when I was still in contact with them. It's unfortunate because whatever the issue is it could still be sorted with relative ease. Even a moderate level of communication would have been greatly received.

Again I'm still hopeful for a positive outcome from this.

I just assumed with me being international and rural it might take up to 2 weeks for my package to arrive.

minerjones, did killyou mention if they were shipping direct to the winners when they responded?

They did not Sad
And it seems like nothing has been sent, as I would have received within a week.

I dont think this is the way we should conduct business. life issues or not my money or btc was real also. So if he was quick to post btc address which was emptied on 22.01.2019 he should be even quicker with postage.

what makes me laugh is the fact that he done it for 0.02btc

If anyone has this guy personal info PM me.

I left negative feedback for this auction as this is clearly ignorance.

I suggest all do the same.
