Ok, your rules, lol
But just noting: at the last min still seems like should be 11:59 if auction ends at 12:00, because at 12:00 it is already over if that's when it is stated to end.

Perhaps I shouldn't say "last minute" and should say if bids come in very near the ending of the auction then it would go into overtime.

Sorry for the confusion bitguy.

Previously I had a user complain (in the summer) about the seconds of the auction mattering to them. I just did away with using the seconds and focused on the actual minute. IN the 15 minute increments I usually only look at the actual minute and not the second.

From now on it shall be known that when I say NOON I mean 12:00 Hawaiian Standard time. Meaning any bid that comes in on that NOON minute is still valid. i.e. 12:00:59 noon HST would be valid.

To be clear on the precision of the auction times in 15 minute increments we are talking about the actual MINUTE and not the seconds that are posted on the forum timestamp.

However, smoothie pls clarify: "Should bids come in at the last minute I will allow for the auction to extended by 15 minute increments between bids."

Bid came in after 12 noon Hawaiian end time. Bid was during the 12 noon minute, however did not come in at the last minute of the auction, which would have been during 11:59 minute. Auction was technically over at noon then?

Just wanted to clarify technically. (gets kind of confusing, lol)

thx

The bids can come in at 12:00:59 and still be considered at the end time of NOON Hawaiian Standard Time.

Auction is still in play.

To be clear I believe this has happened in a previous auction where I called it the same way. It isn't the seconds that matter but the minutes which define the actual end time of the auction (i.e. 12:00 noon).

Happy bidding everyone.
