thank you T. yes of course I definitely understand and want to keep this community healthy Smiley

My bitcoin wallet is on my ledger nano s. Is it okay to prove my funds from my Neo/gas wallet on my ledger? instead of selling my alts for Bitcoin, and then sending that to my wallet from exchange? I do not really want to sell my alts right now and move bitcoin around unless I have no other option and its time to pay. I hope you understand.

Any other way to prove my trust? I have an eBay account ?

thank you all Smiley

I am very sorry again, but for the integrity of the auction i am going to require proof of funds in bitcoin ready to go from all newbie accounts.

Can't he do something with this to sign messages for his alts using this? :  https://medium.com/@bytether/how-to-sign-a-message-with-a-ledger-wallet-bb13077341d8

Edit - lots of us hold alts lately due to BTC fees.

okay I have been out of the community for a while but if that seems acceptable then go ahead and do that yesbitcoin, your bids will be valid once you do thanks

What wallet will you be using bud?  its great to have new members of this community - but I am sure you can understand my nervousness when people come in bidding on slightly obscure collectibles at a decent value.

you should only have to do this once, when you have a few trades under your belt and a bit of trust on the forum people wont question you again

What is the current high valid bid as I would like to exceed it?

current highest valid bid is tman @ .4 btc

once yesbitcoinyes shows proof of funds (if he chooses to do so), he will then be able to submit valid bids as well

OP unless you request proof of funds from this guy I am out..

sorry Yesbitcoinyes - you may be a legit buyer, but with 0 trades on this forum I am surprised to see you bidding on these pieces..

OP - if you are happy with these bids without proof.. then cool but I will be out and I wouldn't be surprised if a few other serious bidders would be put off by this

I did not think of this. Proof of funds will be required for newbies and other users with no real activity here. What is the best way to require proof of funds?

Thanks buddy - there has been cases previously of people coming in an bidding up auctions, i am not saying this is the case here.. but I am glad you are taking this seriously.

can you confirm if his bid is valid until proof of funds is seen?

no newbie bids will be valid without proof of funds. Sorry for the inconvenience yesbitcoin but trying to keep everything fair and legit

- snip -

can someone please walk me through how to do this? Will I need to move my funds off exchange to my wallet first?

I won my first auction last night from AT101ET. funds were sent immediately.

thank you Smiley

Yes you need to move funds from the exchange since you will need to access the private key for signing a message.
Next step is to provide the info that TMAN requested so we can guide you on how to do the actual signing.

Also, check this guide on how to sign a message to find out more.

Hello multiple people were interested in buying these kialaras so I am going to auction them so everyone has the opportunity if they want them. Hate to sell but desperately need money so here we are. Winner takes all

Up for auction is:
Excavatorelevator 1- limited edition of 500. Serial #37
Excavatorelevator 2- limited edition of 250. Serial #37
Excavatorelevator 3- limited edition of 100. Serial #37
Julia Tourianski Kialara- limited edition of 500. Serial #37
Kialara Silver- limited edition of 250. Serial #87
Kialara 2014 Original 0.1BTC

They have all been sitting in bubble wrap in the original boxes that Max shipped them in. The original sleeve around the Silver #87 and 2014 .1 BTC are ripped (see pics below), because I was careless when I originally opened them. Other than that these are in the exact same condition they were in when Max sent them to me.
