This is my 1st auction so I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it, it is a small token amount sent to you to confirm your wallet address for future receipt of payments (dividends).
I thought it was an amount paid on top of dividends which indicates how many shares you hold. Eg a 0.2 btc payment will equal 0.200003 if you have 3 shares
First they send 1 satoshi for each share you own with that account.
After they send the dividends of all your shares.
