As long as escrow is used or payment sent first, every bidder is highly welcome. No matter if newbie or hero member.
If a newbie wins the auction and does not pay then the next highest bidder might have spent the money they would have bought the site for on something else, leaving you with an unsold website. All you can do to a newbie is leave them negative trust if they do not pay, but then can easily create a new account with no effort.

I would suggest making any newbies or anyone you are not 100% certain will pay to put money for their bid in an address controlled by a trusted escrow. This will prevent the above from happening

The newbie's bid is almost certainly bogus.  I bid 1.6btc and he doubles it to 3 btc?  That makes no sense at all.

I will up my bid to 2btc and willing to close the deal ASAP.  You do not need escrow - I will send payment in Bitcoin, then you transfer me the site.

Ready when you are.

3 btc bet
fyi - this person essentially backed out of a trade after agreeing to a price and to use escrow. I would not take his bids seriously unless he prefunds his bid to escrow.

I will have to extend the auction till 25th October.
I'm on a business trip (not bitcoin related  Wink ) and won't have enough access to do the deal.

Thanks for your understanding.

Believe me or not. He is currently banned for "advertising spam" as he stated.

Still two days remaining.

I'll escrow but bids should be public
Very nice, thank you.

He will post his bid here. Will take some time, but he will.

Any update on this?  I don't want to go against a Phantom bidder who could magically keep pushing my bids up.
