I always wondered how I should bid on these, should I just bid the most I am willing to pay? or slowly get up to that by trying to maintain the highest bid

You state this is a Goldie coin but is there any real gold in it? Even if its not a significant amount. Do you know the breakdown of the metal composition of the coin
I thought the term for fake-gold-looking was "goldine," but maybe that's not the right term. As stated in the OP, it is NOT precious metal, nor is it plated with precious metal. I do not know what the underlying metal is - does anyone else remember? I would guess brass, but that's a guess. It is then plated with *something.* Sorry, that's the best I can do.

It is "Goldine", you are correct.
Check the titan page here and scroll down... it does state this
https://www.titanbtc.com/product/titan-one/

"Material: Cupro-nickel alloy 230, also called “Goldine”"

Well I bid 0.005 btc

I questioned the metal content because Id like to win this and make it into a necklace for someone but I don't want their skin turning green.

This auction is for one 2013 Titan BTC 1 BTC goldine coin (no precious metals), which has been REDEEMED and is EMPTY.

The coin is in good condition. I believe this was their first design (?), though they have gone on to create several other excellent physical bitcoin designs since then.

This is NOT one of the odd Chinese copies that one may sometimes see, as it was ordered directly from Titan BTC and I am the original owner.

Starting bid: .001 BTC
Bid increments: .001 BTC
End time: Tuesday 6/27/2017 at 6:00 PM ET (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/new-york)

Sniping: Last-minute bids will cause the auction end time to be extended so that the auction ends 30 minutes after the last bid.

Shipping: US shipping is .003 BTC. Buyer pays international shipping, rate to be determined (shipping from US). Escrow is welcome, but fees must be paid by the buyer.

Reputable bidders only.
