Excellent work, it gives the coins an almost cast appearance.

I'm very curious to know what laser system you have used. Our tests proved inconclusive.

Okay now! These look amazing, great work! Is this technique also possible with precious metals?
Could imagine it vaporizes too much of the material in the process or some other factors not making clean cuts possible.

Also interested on what's gonna happen with the other coins.
Gosh, the detail and "strength" of these coins is just something new!
I did one on a pure silver coin it started out 31.1 grams after the laser it was 28 grams Sad So silver is not a good idea haha I am gonna try titanium and some other metals next

W0uld love to see silver! I really couldnt care less what is burnt out to get the right image on the coin. Do you have any pics of this coin?

I would not mind if it comes less than 31.1 grams or 1 oz or whatever it started with!  Wink
I will look for the coin and post a pic when I can Krog

Haha, I thought something like that would happen. But I mean a 10% loss shouldn't be too bad (not sure about breathing the air, though). Still would love to see some silver.

Oh, just after finishing typing I see Krogoth just pretty much wrote down what I am thinking. : )

Anyway, great work and please continue.

These look amazing! The have the artistic design and complexity of the Eleutheria coins made in the past!

Love em....This opens up so many possibilities in coin making and artistic design possibilities and its exciting on what can be made.

Def would love to see what a silver one would look like as well!  Congratulations bro!

I seriously don't see that as such insurmountable problem - please, please make a silver Mybits series like that!
Just be honest and explicitly put a final weight in the description...
(Although a proper flex would be figuring out how much is lost and casting your own coin that would be appropriately heavier to end up with 1 ozt Grin)
Anyway I've never seen so alluring coin design, those are truly fantastic!!

Seems like something between Eleutheria coins and Saburov's hobo-nickles.

These are very cool -
are the designs original?
who created the artwork?
will both lots have the same serial number?
Thank you the serials are #3 and #10 not matching I never thought of them as a set. The designs are original a friend of mine did the art. As far as the characters go one is Gandalf the other is just viking warriors, but after MJ mentioned Gimli I can see the resemblance. Out of the 10 coins each most are already reserved by friends weeks ago before I even posted on here. If any are left I will auction them at a later date. I have more stuff in the works so I will try to make more coins available next time.

Love me a portrait piece Smiley

Are they suppose to be a specific person/ character  or represent a viking and a wizard in general?

From what I can see, it is Lord of the Rings themed with Gimli and 2 dwarves on the first coin and then Gandalf on the 2nd coin
Such good detail in the coins... well done!!
