Could imagine it vaporizes too much of the material in the process or some other factors not making clean cuts possible.

I seriously don't see that as such insurmountable problem - please, please make a silver Mybits series like that!
Just be honest and explicitly put a final weight in the description...
(Although a proper flex would be figuring out how much is lost and casting your own coin that would be appropriately heavier to end up with 1 ozt
)

Thank you the serials are #3 and #10 not matching I never thought of them as a set. The designs are original a friend of mine did the art. As far as the characters go one is Gandalf the other is just viking warriors, but after MJ mentioned Gimli I can see the resemblance. Out of the 10 coins each most are already reserved by friends weeks ago before I even posted on here. If any are left I will auction them at a later date. I have more stuff in the works so I will try to make more coins available next time. are the designs original?

From what I can see, it is Lord of the Rings themed with Gimli and 2 dwarves on the first coin and then Gandalf on the 2nd coin
