As far as I know, there will still be bitcoin even if a split happens. Bitcoin should survive August 1 and prices should increase rapidly after.

There is still some kind of manipulation in it?

Core devs decided that August 1st should be the date for the user activated soft fork seen in BIP148. Of course, it's a contentious fork and if BIP91 fails to go through we're heading directly into collision for this contentious fork.

Actually there are many speculation of bitcoin prices and its existence. But as far as I can see to it bitcoin still will exists and the price are recovering. Global mass adoption will take place and as is in the upcoming months. Therefore, I believe price will soaring high this year.

Right now it's all hoping that way. But things can change quickly. As happened yesterday that bitcoin prices have decreased very drastically. Now bitcoin prices are back to normal, but we definitely want that things happened yesterday did not happen also on the 1st of August. Everything end result in segwit will definitely affect the movement of bitcoin price in a better direction or not.

There are many speculations and rumors that are going around, but you can check the main news here in bitcoin forum just above home or here "[urlhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017191.0"[/url]. There are possibilities that there will be a split on block chain but we really don't know what will happen on that day until it happens. What we can do is to to be prepared on the day it will happen. There guides on the link that I sent to you on what you can do during the event for the safety of your coins and to prevent panic. i don't know the price movement atm , it go down to $1800 and go up to $2900 in few days , what the hell with the market right now ? just can taking short profit , too risky to hold for a long time, waiting to price being more stable to jump in market

I think it will not happen. Maybe the value of btc is slighty going down when the splitting is happened. But i dont believe that this is the end of the bitcoin. Indeed. It is going to be successful and as the time goes by. The bitcoin value is rising again.

I also think like that, everything is just panic and this issue is made to make users panic so they sell bitcoin with cheap price. I sure, nothing will happen after August 1st.

First, Bitcoin is not a site, it is a digital currency, though today it seems that bitcoin FUD had stopped. This bitcoin will die scheme had been roaming the internet for almost a decade now. There are several prediction that bitcoin will die but instead bitcoin keep going strong. But before today, FUD had been successful in pulling bitcoin price down. Lucky some announcement of Big exchanges shifted the momentum.

The posibility of a hardfork instead of UASF is on the air because BTCunlimited are supporting the bitcoincash split but I think any expert here can be sure of what will happen on august 1st
