There is no need to panic and spread fear of this date, Bitcoin will stay as the most powerful and used crypto currency even if the price drop down for some time after the 1st August. Personally I don't think there is great things will really dropping down the bitcoin's price in the nearest future at least.

Indeed now have a level of confusion that bitcoin is strong enough for its users. Because right now there are a few things that might be in the natural by all users of the bitcoin and also other cryptocurrency users. Because the bitcoin has plans to segwit and if that happens then it will have a few things that can give you some error or bad things in a short time. As Aug 1 is getting near the splitting controversies have been getting bigger and the fear among the users have been increasing. This is just because of the unexpected thing and some advice too was provided through all the forum users to meet the situations without any negative impacts on the investment.
People have free will, they will do as they feel is right, if they see something isn't working for them while it's working fine for many others, they'll just stop using it.
This is simple, really not hard to understand, there are 2 groups in this community: 1- people that will slowly move on from Bitcoin because they can't use it to their benefits, these kinds of people will come as newbies forever nothing could be done about it, they'll come and stay for a while and then disappointment with a few thousands of shit posts around with some drama and end of story finish.
2-The people currently in this community and are here to stay no matter what happens, because it's more of a hobby than serious investment life & death situation, they have enough money to not get burned, even if they be left alone with 5% of their wealth still could live like kings and queens for the rest of their lives, fortunately these kinds of people will keep coming as newbies and will keep the system going.
Conclusion, Bitcoin will always stay a successful experiment.

Every one is persuming that Bitcoin hard fork result will be same just like ETH had his hardfork and it failed and the price went down to 90% below it and it took so much time to reach back its high price. So Bitcoin will also fell down first and then their will be rise. Now everyone is just waiting for August 1 till then their wont be any major activity with bitcoin
This is actually at the back of our thinking since the idea of a coin split came up. There had been a precedent in the case of Ethereum so many of us can be assuming that the same thing and the same scenario would happen with Bitcoin once there can be a fork thing.
However, I still believe that there would no coin split as many Bitcoin leaders are not supporting such a move and that it is in the interest of the miners to preserve the current gains of Bitcoin. Allowing split is just like killing the very source of income they have.
We should tell these people to please do what can be the best for Bitcoin and the many small holders/users and not just think about their own selfish interest and concerns.

Yup. If there is FUD in the market people will want to hang onto fiat. Without that FUD and with a better bitcoin we'll see that steady rise we had before yet again.

Expect bigger shocks in late July, particularly if the anti-Segwit crowd has the strength to yank SW signaling under 80% when it counts. They could be shamming right now with the signaling being done for SW2X to encourage complacency.
I think the link that you paste is a scary news, I can not imagine if later it would be bitcoin will split into five types, this is a very chaotic situation. But I'll still wait until the end and still save the bitcoin and will avoid the transaction until everything gets better. If the price drops it will only be temporary, If that happens it will be an excellent buying opportunity.
i do not even think that the price will fell down temporary. i am sure that even the 1st August is approaching but still the price of bitcoin will also continue increasing and is not going to fell down any more.

Well the fact it self that thy eth has regain its price. If that happens to eth then obviously that would also happens to btc which of course has a greater value however that really scares me a lot still thinking of what would really happen
