Enjoyed the novel; thanks for the 24h free link.

Can't wait to see a novel that combines singularity take-offs with bitcoin.

Two take-off scenarios that I've enjoyed in the past are -

http://localroger.com/prime-intellect/  --> http://localroger.com/prime-intellect/mopiidx.html -- AI hard take-off.

http://autonomyseries.com/ ( http://www.foo.be/docs-free/autonomy/Autonomy-Freedom-of-Thought-Draft-3-CC.txt )
--> accelerating progress unleashed by a patent-free economy and mind/machine interfaces.

A fun game:

OH He's that Denton! That makes so much sense now. HAHA Grin

Good read, though it certainly gave me a book list. Not complaining, I probably should have read them by now anyways.

Thanks everyone for checking out the eBook! The 24 hours is over but now an interview with the author has been posted at CoinDL.onHover (new artist/author spotlight)

Shame on everything; regret nothing.
Good stuff; I shared it on FB.

Gold is a resource. So's cocaine.

Resources, maybe... They're not universal resources like food and water, though.  Gold and cocaine... one I give a shit about, the other I care about too much...

I advocate the Zeitgeist Movement & Venus Project.
Not too bad a story. A little too obsessed with sexuality, and obviously the whole thing is some anarchist fantasy, but not bad.

I am still looking forward to some speculative fiction about life in a resource based economy.

Writing in present tense infuriates me, sorry. Undecided

I like the site a lot, though!!

slightly too "educative" for my taste of an easy read. When the author invites you to follow some link twice per page, this gets kind of annoying. Instead of "on blabla.org/blabla/bla.html I found bla" I would prefer "I read bla" with a footnote that bla really exists or even more literary freedom on those references making them more exciting and an annex talking about all the actual sources. Reading the author is totally into one real thing that I don't like makes it harder to sympathize when he's into another thing I actually like Wink

Still I got to page 28 Wink

I tried to read it, but wasn't impressed. The writer seemed to want to talk about sex and anarchy at the cost of actual literary coherence.

After the first page, I didn't think I was going to enjoy it. 20 pages in, I don't want to stop reading it. It kind of reminds me of Daniel Suarez's work in Daemon and Freedomtm. Hopefully it maintains the pace and fun but informative tone through the next 100.

Thanks for the freebie!  I bought a book on regression analysis while I was there.  Smiley
Can't think of a better literary pairing. May I suggest a vintage Max Min album with that?

Sweet. Any book with the word "fuckknuckle" on the first page can't be all bad. Thanks!
