Don't be bad and share your strategies!
Loving the idea of testing/sharing strategies! Sadly, I just play on BB at the moment and since it's down, haven't been able to give this a go yet.
Does it share information like # of rolls, Win/Loss amount, etc.? More or less, wondering if you can evaluate its level of success for others as well. And can we upload our own results with someone's strategy? Like have it compile it all and give an average, so we can see over millions of rolls what each strategy results in?
This picture should solve your question http://i.imgur.com/fa1jy8g.png
Perfect, that's awesome!
Can you set it to where others can upload their results as well, and have another set of stats that are like "average" or "other players?" There's a huge difference between a strategy that's working for 600k rolls and 600 million.
Also, I don't remember a "check strat" button. Is this new?
The strat upload requires a minimum amount of rolls (1000 at least) before enabling the upload function. When you upload a strat, you need to set a name, description, and a recommended minimum balance to run that strat. The Statistics are automatically uploaded based on the rolls that you have made using that strat
and the Check Strat button has always been on the Martingale tab, take a better look the next time u open Pro Mode hahaha
An average for other users would be kinda difficult to make I believe, I need to think about it, but I don't promise anything soon (need to finish some things before )
Completely understand about it uploading the creator's data, but here's a case in point:
2 days ago, I started with a strategy. Short-term (few hours) it was looking great, slowly growing. Left it overnight. Woke up to a decent profit (and 490k rolls having been done overnight). Reset the stats again (I like to view them over periods of time so I can see how it affects things -- so before/after bed I always reset stats to see what's changed). Completely busted 3x within the next 4k rolls due to horrible, horrible variance. In this case, my 490k rolls was solid. It only took 4k more to completely demolish the plan and force me to re-work it again. And this is why being able to continually upload more data is of immense benefit. I don't care about the first 500k, 1m, etc. rolls. I care about how it performs over tens of millions or hundreds of millions, as that's a lot more representative of its long-term viability.
That said, the bot is awesome, and I've been loving it. If nothing changed at all, I'd still use it. Just wanted to push some ideas/reasoning for changes.
Also, the problem with not seeing the "check strat" button is probably because I haven't used it for Martingale in pro, . Thanks for the heads-up!
I understand, but what happens if someone upload a strat and in description claims that is a "safe strat" with custom statistics that show something, but when someone run that strat, get instantly busted? That's why I've made it with real statistics, so, if a strat isnt "that safe", the people would know with real data from what the author have rolled.
Of course the author can put anything he wants at description, so I believe authors can use description to put info like what you're suggesting
