Would these ship with the full purchase price declared on the CN22?

I routinely order a ton of stuff from Asia, and 90+% of it arrives with a much lower value declared, and/or declared as a gift.  So much so that I have never once been assessed a duty fee despite hundreds of orders, some of them for over $1000 USD.
+1 for this question.

Some places even state their practice right in their shipping policy.  For instance:

Someone has already set-up any group buying program? I'm also interested in. Which should be a scaled down versions of project-Pi. But if there have not at least 10 units orders I'll probably give up the idea.

Yes, you can tell them (EMS/GdSK) you handle customs yourself. But you don't want to mess with german customs. At least I don't want to Wink

DHL, FedEx, ... handle customs for you FREE of charge.

There is more to Bitcoin than bitcoins.
PLEASE! DO NOT use EMS for international shipping.

At least in germany ordering with EMS means getting ripped off because EMS packages are delivered with GdSK in germany. They charge you ridiculous fees for getting your package through customs. Pleaser offer other options like DHL.
Not sure if it works the same way as in Canada, but here you can call the currier and request them not to broker the customs (which of course they love to do without asking you) - you can then do the paperwork and release the package yourself.

EMS is great to Sydney/Aus - the couriers drop it at the postoffice if you aren't home, and I've not had to pay taxes or fees so far Smiley

Whats with the stalling?  Is Ngzhang busy making fresh bank accounts or something?  Still waiting on my e-mail for the WT info.. but at this point, I think I'm going to pull out and wait till the day ASIC units are readily available.  The market for ASIC seems too volatile as of current. =/

crap, just realized i'm a bit too late on this. :/

Don't worry - for some of us - being on time wasn't any use anyway.

... watched the countdown - still couldn't order.

it should come with adapters Cheesy

edit for clarity: this is my own hope, I have no idea if it does, does not, what type of plug etc

according to what was written in this thread (power consumption, built-in linux based PC), I'm sure that device will contain regular PSU

i really hope for a light version (connect via USB and powered by PSU, not standalone)
i am afraid that standalone version will have more weight and will be bigger!

I don't see any reason why the standalone version could not be powered by a standard PSU. As long as the voltage and amperage match it should be ok.

good to know, I'll have to make sure that I don't type in the wrong one first time through in case I can't change it later

I am still concerned about the shopping cart software not updating my shipping address properly.
You change your addresses, delete the old, and the old still remains in some parts of the shopping
software account area.

We will stand and fight.
relax, wiretransfer is not started yet. I think we will finish the per-works in a few days.

Then send the mails, then start the second launch.

Working with our ASIC team these days, a little (写作一点,读作非常) busy.
