I wonder if someone started attacking walletbit to try and piss everyone off. Maybe someone that already has an avalon unit and wouldn't want others to get their hands on one? Dun dun dunnnnn

The whole thing feels like it was set up by a team of "special" 3rd graders. Did they test this at any point? If so how?

All they had to do was ask us and price it at  .1 btc....

i suspect a walletbit bug.

the POST to walletbit sends the right USD price, but walletbit only requests 0.05xxx per device

Wow... I'm just hoping they save my place and don't try and refund my money. What a nightmare.

Who wants to buy my chance of a spot? I'll sell it cheap.

Each click on the site led to a random shopping cart.
I'm suspecting cookie shenanigans.

Perhaps using a different payment processor every batch isn't the best idea.  It would be easier to do a smooth launch with an already used and tested (but you are testing regardless before launch... RIGHT?) payment processor.

They should have just had the whole thing up and ready to go, and then just activated a link to the site.

It looked as if they were adding pieces on the fly which is crazy since they know a whole ton of people are hitting refresh and trying to move forward as fast as possible...

Maybe they're processing orders only in the speed they manage to convert BTC to USD?

Each click on the site led to a random shopping cart.  Eventually, I had the 2 units that I wanted and was able to check out.  Of course, when I got to the payment page after entering my info, it wanted by to send 0.0 BTC to the address.  Then it thanked me for my payment once it realized that the amount pending was zero.

I sent 0.01 just as a placeholder.

Does anyone know how many confirmations are needed? I hate having $4k in limbo and it has a confirmation on the block chain and walletbit is still spinning...

I would fear that also and it was the main reason i did not even pay  .4 whatever btc. Everything was just wrong.

Who is Christopher Ro***k? I've just got into his cart LOL Smiley
LOL wow, just what we need when people are rushing to send BTC to the first address they see.

Avalon team. I here by offer use of my data center,  a 24 core xeon machine with 192 gigs of ram, and gige to run your sale on if this flops. I can have the box up in a few hours with your choice of OS. Msg me.
You will need to upgrade walletbit's servers too.
