Would it make any sense to set up a "register" web page where people could disclose whatever they wish about their Batch #1 order?
This would probably be super help and could help make prediction about shipping time a little easier to calculate.

ok, tell us exactly what performance issues you achieved by moving the wr703n out of the case. or was it merely to drop the temps?
