You have to mine with the miner client.
"Launch Axiocoin" It's in your start menu
I am unable to execute that file. Even though I can visually see the Launch Axiocoin.exe in its correct location, whenever I try to run that file I get an error that 'The system cannot find the file specified.'

I'm noticing a lot of people are solo-mining through the wallet. You will get 0 coins. You have to mine through the Miner that we give you, that is the point of this coin. I encourage you to read the thread a bit if you just got here.
And what should do the ones that the miner is not working for them
We're uploading a patched version to the server. New users won't have this issue.
You'll need to uninstall/reinstall in about 10-15 minutes for it to work for you.
Have you tried updating .net framework btw?
Yes i have everything up to date including the net framework, will stick here for some more time to test the new version
