The use of the words 'clone' and 'shitcoin' is overused and improper.

All automobiles contain 4 wheels, a body, and a combustion engine, but we don't call Chevrolet a Ford clone. Every cryptocurrency is a copy of Satoshi's bitcoin with varying degrees of innovation added, all just different brands of the same underlying protocol.

The real value of these coins will be determined by network effect, not bells and whistles. The amount of ignorance and jealousy in this forum is disgraceful. We're supposed to be supporting each other, not degrading the work of others. Undecided

They have many years building large datacenters in all world, Now they have to focus on almost all areas of opportunity to provide services like its competitors, Peoples will have to closely monitor it if  really have benefits for the end user to use the services like to cloud services or IOT, I rather think they want to use as a bridge between the end user and large corporations that have engaged the  Azure services, I heard that more than 1 B of peoples use the services of Microsoft in all the world. But who knows this will give much to talk about everything for example with copyright, Mix open source code with copyright code   can bring some problems in the future.........

i think that this is the key for the bitcoin success, you know how things are working in this world "sadly", "if something is good for you is good for me..." let's wish them good luck with his project, this will be good for all of us Wink

MS should add as many coins as possible.

That's right.

MS wants to become something like a coin store/catalog.

The more coins they accept, the more PR of Azure platform they get.

Bang-on. What better $ign that cryptocurrency is becoming main$treamed?  Tongue

The upshot of this, however, is that developers that are already using Azure can build applications on top of the Monero blockchain, and are able to spin nodes up quickly and easily."

I think, if the coin added by azure, the coin is partnering with MS.

well in the end if this is the case i think is a good news for us, i mean for the alt coin world, this could explain why they are adding every altcoin on azure without distinction Wink

coins are good, the more the better. Competition makes things advance, and the best remain.

exactly this, but let's see how they compete...you know... is microsoft... Tongue

I couldn't agree more. And the announcement thing is often exaggerated. I also can imagine the following scenario:

1) Revive a dead / shit coin
2) Spread the news about 'Partnership with Microsoft'
3) Pump hard
4) Profit

Why Microsoft Wants 'Every Blockchain' on its Azure Platform
maybe some people like that scheme because they can get an advantage with buy that coin in low price then when get pumped thay can get some profit ,

Yes, but Azure is only adding the coins that were build from scratch.
Not the clones.
Not really,
Expanse is an Ethereum fork
Lisk is a Crypti fork

I support both coins though..

ROFL no. Read the OP.

TLDR: "All the altcoins saying that Microsoft is partnering with them are being disingenuous". Most likely scams in some form. Stay away. Take special note of the coins that post in this forum hyping Azure and using a self-moderating thread so they can't be called out for their bullshit.

"apply, fill out the forms correctly, and you're in."

All you have to do is apply and azure will add a coin. I could literally build a coin today and add it. How some coins are pimping this as a partnership is beyond me. This is like me applying for a mastercard and saying mastercard is partnering with me--when in reality all I needed was a decent credit score and a pulse. All you need for azure intergration is a coin and to jump through a few hoops. Anyone who is impressed by this either doesn't understand the process or is easily impressed.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it was something like that when I saw Azure adding coin after coin after coin. The number of Azure alts just grew too quickly for it to be anything other than "apply, fill out the forms correctly, and you're in."

Azure is adding clones.

Isn't Expanse just an Ethereum Clone?
And isn't Lisk just a Crypti clone?
They don't care of that
sometime i think Microsoft is trading these coins before adding to azure
