No matter what it is, I see more and more guys like you popping up lately, like mushrooms, and barely delivering any productive content. At least try to back up your claim with some deeper analysis and not just a link!
That is a pretty sad development lately!

I think it's mainly due to the fact that these noobs have missed out on buying at the time the price was still around the $1000 levels. These people are desperately trying to scare people off in an attempt to make them sell, so they miss out as well in case the price goes up further. It's disgusting how people here are trying to make others miss out, or even suffer losses, because they themselves have missed out or even lost. It's an 'I lost, so I will take you down with me' mentality.

But you know how easy it is to play with orderbooks right?!
This is either just a dumb comment or a very lame attempt to FUD!
Or you get paid by some idiot!

It's funny how people directly come up with baseless predictions just because the price has gone down a bit. In current circumstances daily prices swings of $100-$200 are fairly normal -- definitely not something to be surprised/shocked about. People here are equally as volatile as the price is. If the price goes up, everything is fine for them, but if the price drops a bit, people lose all confidence. What a joke....

exactly!
this board has turned into a "guessing" and "FUD"ing board rather than being a speculation board with some analysis done. people just come here and share their wishes. sometimes it is wish to reach $5000 by the end of the week and sometimes it is reaching $100 by the same time!

so far as price goes, there is no reason for the drop apart from it being a correction at this point. because of that chance of $2000 is pretty low. worse case scenario we may see the dip continue to test $2600 bottom one more time

But it will never go $2000 again. i think $2500 should be a good resistance for the price of bitcoin get dumped as fast as possible. Bitcoin already touched the new ath and this mean the correction will come as soon as possible.
A price correction might happen in a short, but we cannot say with cent percent assurance that the price won't go anywhere below $2500, because what's happening with bitcoin is mostly unexpected, as it a speculative currency. Hope it won't reach $2000 anymore as the price correction for the past rise has taken it back to $2000 and got recovered creating a panic among the low volume holders in particular.

I'm surprised there isn't more panicking this time around than there was last time. I guess people are getting used to the so-called dramatic drops in price. Traders are currently taking profits and it's likely we'll see sideways and up again jlike last time, don't you worry. We might even break over 3000 this time around.

Now many investors know that the value of the bitcoin in the longer run because compared to last time now many businesses are accepting bitcoins as payment methods. So investors are more confident now and hence they will not worry much about these corrections instead they will wait for the price which they want to sell off.  I'm also holding on few coins for the longer term and not selling now.

It will go back to $2k and below, but not yet. Bitcoin still has very, very strong upward momentum. I think it will see $4k before it sees $2k. I predict the top of the bubble will be $4k-$5k

Nothing to worry about, the values are still fairly normal actually, and price swings like these are expected for a market like Bitcoin.

A little more than a month ago, the average value of BTC was substantially lower compared to the present day. Several hundreds lower in fact. Based on the trend since the start of the year, we're likely in a long term hike - two steps forward, one step back, then two steps forward, one step back again and again.
