Lol this is too funny, I was led to believe we were going to see $11000 in the coming days.

I am so happy to have sold some yesterday, my spidey sense was tingling. Now, lets see if I can buy them back at a bargain price. Why do I make so much more money in a tanking market? Probably because I dont buy when its going up.

Anywayz, buy low, sell high, alwayz works for me. Noobs lose money because they do the exact opposite. Lolz!

You’ve made a fool of yourself numerous times on here. Do you really want people to pull up posts from years ago from yourself sellibg everything in 3 digits?

LOL. Man, although you are right you are rude a bit. Do not be so strict. The strange guy was going to share his deep thoughts with everybody on this Forum.

Lol but dude's got it on point. Many people make the mistake of doing the exact opposite of the buy low sell high principle. The way i see it, as long as you believe in the project or the coin, buying low and selling high isn't that much difficult. So what if it goes back to 6k. Think like whales :p

You were not misled but you have no patience to hold your bitcoin for some more time. If you noticed the price is increasing day by day and it grew more than 1000 dollars in the last few days. Now you will be unhappy with your decision to sell your bitcoin for low price but don’t be panic it is the part of business. Patience and courage are important for investment in bitcoin.

Yeah it is funny. I don’t know why some people think so negatively. Everyone is happy about the price and this guy is turning around 6000 dollars. The price already reached to 9000 dollars and is growing more. Now people are thinking about 20 to 25K till the end of this year. If the investment ratio increases the price will automatically increase.

Yep. Anyone can see that there were a lot of FOMO buying that weren't rational at all during the rally.

I have to agree with you. Even if bitcoin does hit $10k or above, the correction is obviously near. And with the market sentiment still leaning to the bearish end of the scale, I do think that it is more than likely the correction will take us down to test the support that held up previously at just over $6000/BTC. No idea if that support will sustain through this dump, though.

And you're right about the general strategy in a falling market in regards to BTC, imo it's wise to always buy after markets tank for a few days and there seems to be consolidation going on. This incoming correction will present another accumulation opportunity for long term holders for sure. I've sold a fraction of my coins right now at over $9k, I'm still holding onto my long term BTC stash, but I'm definitely looking to buy once the dip comes.

Ummm what...you wrote this today?! The correction happened earlier this week. Dropped a thousand dollars. It already happened. Will probably hang out in the 8000s and low 9000s possibly for a few days before pushing towards $10k. $6k.. no way in hell. The market sentiment is not bearish at all, that ended a few weeks ago when Bitcoin said goodbye to the 6000s bottom. Market sentiment has been positive the past few weeks for the first time in 4 months.

The correction from 9000s to 8000s was to be expected after going from 6000s to 9000s. After some consolidation at this level the next move is upwards.

I think you jinxed us!

While we were marching up toward $10,000 we've now retreated below $9,000. Let's not get too excited about any movements. Nothing that happens this week or next or in movements of 10s of percent will be new for us. If we aren't seeing a double up or a complete breakdown we shouldn't care. Volatility happens...mostly with Bitcoin!

If it falls to $6000 that would be great for me because only thing I do nowadays is just buying not selling, who will sell below $20.000? Noobs
The unexpected price in the market is really amazing if in case $6k would hit many users are waiting for that to happen. Who would'nt be likes to grab that chance to buy some as many expectations price this year will go high. Yes buying would be good rather selling at this price.

This works for me too! but i dont think this is logical statement that were in for 11k and then we come back to 6k again. Im seeing green and a bull in the price in the coming month of May possibly could Reach 15k  by first week of June with this rate of price positive movement the 15k rise is very po ssible..and it wont be hard to overpass the highest price peak of last year December if this would be the case.

We cannot know what is the low price not until it happens, but since history taught us already better to learn from it. its very basic rule in trading, buying low and selling high, if this market back on $6k level again don't panic easily because that is a great opportunity to buy in bulk at a lower price. The price is keep moving right now, I think it can reach $10k before the end of April. Smiley

Buy low sell high seems sensible to me.  Rather than this hodling for a profit that might be pie in the sky.
Pie in the sky? Just as much as those who thought similarly when the price broke through the $1000 level again last year?

If there is one thing the past has taught everyone here, then it's the fact that holders are the real winners here. Most of the holders are also involved in short term trading, so it's not that you solely have to rely on holding. Holding coins for long term purposes is the backbone of your investment, where short term trading allows you to benefit from what the market has to offer in other fields. The main purpose of short term trading is to end up with more coin quantity than before, at least for me.

So buy at 6k and sell at 9 or if you're brave hold out for 10k.
That has nothing to do with being brave. If you just think logically, you should only sell in smaller percentages per time, which will allow you to still benefit if the price keeps climbing up further. If the price ends up going down instead, then you can buy back the coins that you sold at lower levels. Being brave costs you money, where being smart earns you that. Wink

When doing buy low sell high would really give some tinggling effect either you do guess on where do price would go. going back on 6k price is possible and it can drop anytime but it would really need some significant news before it would dip once again. Its normal for the market to a trader which do gain because of others mistakes. There are earners and there would really be lossers.

While there is no way Bitcoin is ever going back to 6000, I did just read that the Mt Gox trustee just moved 16,000 BTC from their wallets, presumably in order to sell soon. Apparently they sold about $400 million during the September crash, and sold a bunch multiple times during the big crash including on Feb 5th when the price plunged down under $6000.

And the article said they still have about 141,000 BTC's left. At a price of $9000/BTC that is $1.3 billion they still have in Bitcoin. If they are gonna keep selling that off bit by bit (and by bit I mean a few hundred million dollars at a time), we're probably gonna have random crashes all over the place this year.

Too bad they aren't just dispersing the bitcoins out to their creditors and instead are giving them money by selling vast amounts of bitcoin at a time, initiating large sell offs repeatedly.

That's all speculation at this point, before they sell anything there has to be another hearing and from that a decision will be made. So there is no chance that any further funds will be sold in the coming months.

I am not a great fan of speculation for the short term but I believe that Bitcoin is still undervalued when it comes to the real potential of it. I am expecting price not only to recover but also it will hit a fresh all-time high level in this year itself considering the growth in the user base and utility value of it. Things are chaotic as of now but with the growth of mass maturity, we will see the sustainable growth in the price too and hence it doesn't make any sense to me to worry about short-term price fluctuation.

Good for you that you sold your cryptocurrency holdings yesterday and you feel relieve with your decision but in my own perspective the price of Bitcoin now is good and fine and I don't think that it will falldown again to $6,000, the price correction is good and healthy though so you better nourish your excitement and buy to your expected low and you will for sure maximize your profit once again.

Can I say congratulations to you fellow. You won the market value of your own token. It is good for you to have that kind of strategy. Buy when coins are low and sell when it goes up. How nice it is to see it is working for you. I guess you master it already as staying for a long time. I will remember your ideas. Thanks.
