do you think that there is a correlation between the price of bitcoin and the news trends ?? I check the google news for "btc" everyday and I noticed that in the previous months when bitcoin's prices were dropping, the news were all grim and calling btc to be dead. however now that we are seeing a "potential" reversal (this could very well be a trap) I am noticing that the news are positive mostly.

so what I think is that the news are reflecting the "emotional" state of the market and what investors are feeling about bitcoin, and now for the most part it's positive.
Of course news is the main thing which affects bitcoin's price (people are still very emotional). But also we have to mention that it depends on type of business. If someone posts his opinion on coindeks/cointelegrapha and says bitcoin dies or some silly billionare said bitcoin sucks, it won't affect price but news like china decided to ban bitcoin, exchangers are growing fees or etc similar can affect price a lot.
Also actions like blocking withdrawals for a while from top exchanger(s) or manually changing price of coins on famouse site like coinmarketcup did affects price a lot. (I wrote this additionally).

You already answered your own question Wink which i do mostly believe into that matter. Fundamentals do really mainly affect bitcoins or altcoins price which if theres news then it would be high chances that it would really correlate with it and making movements basing on the news either it would be negative or positive ones. This is why some traders do make use of fundamentals and at the same time they do make up use of technical analysis.Having these two things will really make high chances on hitting up right orders and making good entries.

News is one of the factors why people have different approach on a certain trend.

Depends on what type of news, it contributes well to the strategy of a trader on choosing which actions they will done whether to buy or to sell. But as you see in most of the cases, those news results you will see via your favorite online search engine are already an output, meaning the price actions already started and those news will just tell you what's should be the reason behind it. That's the reason you will see that whenever there is an uptrend, news are positive and vice versa.

As a trader, it's quiet a must to include news as one of the recipe in order to make a good analyzation on what to do next.

It depends on the nature of the news. If a news like banning of cryptocurrency comes from a particular currency, then we obviously see a drop in the trading volumes and the price since people begin cashing out, on the other hand if it is a minor negative news, then it doesn't really create much of an impact.

It also varies from country to country. If a major nation bans bitcoins, the price starts to falls. If a major whale begins dumping, again price starts to fall. While if a big name joins the game, the price appreciate. Isn't that how the world works? You can relate the same to stock markets too.

Good or bad news does not affect in the price directly, but its affect the attitudes of the customers/traders who have the effect on the price.
So the interaction of traders with the news is what affects in the price. greater interaction ----> greater impact
Some bad news such as China's ban sparked panic, triggering a strong sell-off and thus a fall in price

Trading business is divided into News and Techniques. The news is the Fundamentals while techniques forms the Technical Analyses. News drives the fundamental and that is how the crypto market works. Let's assume there is a news on China adopting bitcoin this night, believe it before 12hours after that news bitcoin would break every resistance to climb above the $10,000 level. Good  news means go price increase.

Obviously where have you been until now? Thats the case man and that is what creates the FUD in peoples mind and sometimes people create such FUD's to move the market. The good and bad news are such pivotal things that they could drive the market crazy. Remember the last china news that spread all over the globe news channel then immediately after that there was mega dump of the bitcoin. Yes news was true but it was bad and market reacted to it very very quickly. Thats what the power of news channel is. Off course they will always make news which look more dirty to grab the attention of reader and fear will follow too.

There are 3 types of analyses on financial markets: technicial, fundamental and sentimental. Fundamental research is based on news and its affects on financial tools. So, bad-good news can affect market without any technical analyse. In the cryptocurrency market news is main factor of moving prices like fuel on vehicles.

This is the art of trading cryptocurrencies  Grin. News is just news, rumor is just rumor, both of bad or good, its what we call fundamental. Beside them, don't forget about analysis technical which show us about psichology of most trader. So it's technically show up.
For me good or bad publicity is still publicity,so what matter what happens bitcoin is getting popularized by this issues, what we onlyneed to do is keep the market alive, lets keep some holdings and patience so when the rebound happens we are ready.

This is how media works.they will push what is trending, they dont even care ofhe truth whats important is theyre news to he marketed

Since these crypto markets are not regulated by any governments or reputed institutions when there is small news about it markets will show an immediate reaction to it. Because people will be in a panic that these coins can either tank or go high more than 100% in a day. Particularly new investors will be more panic to sell at the bad news because they are not used to these high volatility market.

Most of news being untrue that is the problem mate. If you want to see the perfect news about the cryptocurrency I suggest you guys to go with the Coindesk news site only. Other side like famous media release are not at all a true one.

Government and banks will never support the bitcoin or any decentralized crypto currency. Please do not argue with the ripple acceptance on banks by seeing my text. They are just shit in this crypto marketplace.

There were some cases in which bad news didn't affect the price and that was during the bull run. Financial experts who continuously bashed bitcoin for being "useless" and "impractical for real-world applications" also contributed in the string of bad press for bitcoin yet the price ignored these things and we just went on our merry way. Though at some way bad news help in changing the sentiment of the market, it still isn't enough to solely move the prices since traders still act on what seems to be the most profitable move irregardless of the news circulating around. It does have some sort of relationship to the price but it's not always the case IMO.

Bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies is very sensitive in news even if it's a fake news because people are scared that they will loose money if there is a bad news and earn when there is a good news.

I guess this is what is popularly known among investors as Fundamental Analysis

Fundamental analysis is a method of evaluating a security in an attempt to measure its intrinsic value, by examining related economic, financial and other qualitative and quantitative factors. Fundamental analysts study anything that can affect the security's value, including macroeconomic factors such as the overall economy and industry conditions, and microeconomic factors such as financial conditions and company management. The end goal of fundamental analysis is to produce a quantitative value that an investor can compare with a security's current price, thus indicating whether the security is undervalued or overvalued.

Most of the effect from news are just psychological on market/price as bitcoin is known to have speculative price any type of news can affect the price because traders used to easily get panic or fomo. Whales always create trap using such news where newbie investors get trapped and loss while whales keep on making profit regardless of market condition.

Yes news have huge emotional affect on bitcoin's price till now, most of the assets do have such effect.

Somehow your analysis is right but I would call it as "news reflecting the direction of the public's sentiment" most of the times but there are instances wherein the public's sentiment for crypto is good despite having a bad news. Either way news are a good indicator of price rise and dump, even if it is still a rumor that might turn out to be a fact someday(so long as it is from a credible source).
