i think whites are stupid for allowing the government to abuse power, corrupt the system, false flag wars, illegally spy on us, etc etc.

what should they do? call the cops? call the mayor? call obama? they have no voice through traditional means. but they are being heard loud and clear now.

A person might wonder first if you don't know the difference between Salt Lake City and Baltimore. But the rest of your comment makes it clear that you do. As to the British media, that applies to a lot of stories and it goes against your argument. The Taylor shooting, most people would say, was dort of justified if you have very low standards for law enforcers. But even the lowest standards do not cover things like the Freddie Grey killing.

Your second paragraph is not clear. You say something like "How about recognizing when you are arrested for breaking the law it is because you broke the law". Do you understand that some people believe that killing a person in custody who is restrained is more of a crime than, for example, selling drugs? And do you understand that killing a person in custody often does not get treated as a criminal matter?




Although a lot of the attitudes are divided along racial lines,  it is quite a bit more complicated, especially when you add in the economy.

Americans are taught, by their government, that violence works. So when they have a problem their response is going to be violence. Why? Because it works, according to the government.

The racial thing is a sort of sub drama.

lets be honest. whites and blacks have different mentalities and different opportunities and positions in the world. whites are comfortable. they have food. jobs. homes. investments. 401K. they are not feeling the pressure. they do not want to lose what they have worked for. so they accept the iron grip of our government. even if all the news coverage was about cops killing white people they still would not care enough to risk their comforts. that's why i said wait till the financial system collapses. when whites have lost everything they worked for due to corruption they will be burning and killing too. then it won't be about black or white. it's the people vs the government.

I keep thinking of Dillon Taylor, a man killed by a police officer in Utah last August. Taylor was drunk, too drunk to follow a cop's command to put his hands up - he went for his waistband, and was shot dead by an officer outside a Seven Eleven store. The whole thing was taped on the cop's body cam, according to media reports - and the UK papers covered it more than the US papers, to our shame. Taylor left behind a pregnant girlfriend, so his child is now in the world, and will not ever meet him because a police officer could not wait to shoot. Why was there no riot, no massive protests, no wall-to-wall media coverage for this police shooting? Was it because Taylor was white, and the cop "non-white," whatever that means? Or was it because there is no organized mob in Utah waiting to use manufactured, false race riots to wreak havoc in front of convenient cameras? Is media coverage the true aim of these so-called "race" protesters? And what will it take to get the media to behave responsibly and stop inciting riots by playing up lies before there is any real evidence of wrongdoing by police? Ferguson was burned by people chanting lies, and Staten Island was also rocked by lies. We are glad that the National Guard is in Baltimore to stop more nonsense by con artists. We also wonder why they were NOT needed in Utah - why was the Taylor shooting by a police officer different? And why was it covered more extensively in the British news media than by the NY Times?

Here is a thought: how about staying in school, learning to read and do math and/or learning a skill??? Here is another thought: how about taking advantage of what the tax payers offer you....free school and infrastructure? How about not destroying where you live? Or are the 60's a distant memory? How about raising your children with some respect? How about realizing that when you are arrested for breaking the law, it is because you broke the law? Not everything is because you are black.

rebellion leads to change. that's why we left england. that's why we had the american revolution. when the government no longer has an iron grip on the people it will be forced to adapt or perish.

And how exactly is creating chaos and disorder going to help the financial system from collapsing? Do you think that the evil governments will change their ways?

do you guys think a revolution will be a couple of well mannered gents sitting down for a nice conversation and a cup of tea? the government doesn't listen to the people. the only way to get their attention is to cause disorder. you think this is bad? just wait till the financial system collapses and the majority are without jobs and food. when the whites are in the same situation as the blacks and have nothing left to lose they will be in the streets too.

If people in the black community are looking for shared outrage at the violence being directed towards them by police officers across the country, then they may want to try to understand the outrage many of us feel when we watch televised coverage of mobs of black citizens breaking windows, looting stores, stealing merchandise, setting cars on fire, physically attacking people, and committing other acts of vandalism and violence. Fair or not, that kind of terrible behavior in the black community only perpetuates unfortunate stereotypes that people not closer to the situation form.

I get that people are sick and tired of police violence and murder. So am I. It's indefensible and disgraceful. But I'm also sick and tired of hearing folks using police violence as an excuse to justify their own criminal behavior. That too is indefensible.

If the resolution includes throwing bricks at firetrucks that go after fires on affordable housing areas, looting stores, burning houses of civilians and destroying the property of individuals then we'd better avoid revolution at any cost. Can you imagine this being normalised?
