Although I didn't watch this BPL match live on TV, I was really surprised by the updates of the match. I couldn't even imagine that the organized team Rangpur Riders would be defeated by 2 runs, especially against a target of 120 runs set by Rajshahi. Rangpur Riders lost twice in this year's BPL, against Rajshahi. This is somewhat inconsistent in the BPL because the team that went undefeated in seven matches and lost two matches is again targeting a very low score against Rajshahi. Against a team that was on the verge of being all out for 120 runs, Rangpur Riders scored 117 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs, which is unacceptable in the BPL.

It must be admitted that Durbar Rajshahi was able to put up a stronger performance than Rangpur Riders. The Rangpur Riders team has the best players but the Durbar Rajshahi team does not have the best players, yet they still defeated Rangpur Riders yesterday. Again Durber squad destroyed members of Rangpur squad very well and today both squad engaged in 34th match. Durbar Rajshahi performance was not cool in batting Inning and their squad has begun the match first with batting Inning and their squad members collected 119 scores just after playing 20 overs and this was the quite simple scores for any squad to achieve it and emerged victorious but Rangpur one of favourite, strong and top rank squad did not achieve this scores and faced a defeat with 2 scores. Durbar Rajshahi bowlers fully supported their squad to emerge victory in this match and restricting the batters of Rangpur squad below their target. Ahsan and Jaker only played good and some help team to give this runs but target was very small. Fortune easily chased down all runs and won the game by 8 wickets and 24 balls. Faheem really bowled well today and he took down 5 wickets in 3.1 overs and gave 7 runs. Tamim also showed great help and he made 52 runs in 51 balls and hitted six 4s. Congratulations Sttikers team win the game.

I was not very interested in the first match of the day but the second match was very exciting. Durbar Rajshahi had set a target of just 119 runs but while chasing that score Rangpur Riders lost by just 2 runs which is really funny. But such situations are seen often in cricket now. Rangpur Riders were at the top of the points table with consecutive wins and still are but there has been a big change in their winning streak. They lost two consecutive matches. Today when Durbar Rajshahi were forced to end their innings with a short run, there was a guess that Rangpur Riders might win the match with a few overs left in the match but that did not happen instead they lost the match by a small margin of 2 runs.

Akbar Ali played well contributed 19 runs by facing 21 balls. Durbar Rajshahi also showed an excellent performance in bowling. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury took four key wickets, and Taskin Ahmed also bowled a brilliant spell and took two wickets. Rangpur Riders failed to achieve the target and lost the game with a narrow margin. The Credit goes to Mrittunjoy Chowdhury that put pressure on Rangpur Riders batters and took four wickets, helped Durbar Rajshahi to win by a marrow 2 runs and win for Durbar Rajshahi that helped him to move to fourth position in point table.

Not only today but also earlier we have not seen good performance from Sylhet batsmen. If they had performed well, they might not have been such a weak team and they would not have lost so many matches. Moreover, the team they faced today had a very strong batting lineup. So even though they collected 116 runs in this match, it was not enough for them.

But Tamim Iqbal's batting performance was amazing today, watching his batting one can not easily guess whether he is playing ODI or T20 matches i.e. there is no difference between his game. As Fortune Barisal won a match today, maybe Rangpur Riders can also win today's match. Rangpur Riders' opponents Durbar Rajshahi are already under a lot of pressure at the moment.

I think from somewhere it is good that Rangpur Riders experienced loss in this Bangladesh Premier League. Because often the teams who won all of the games they often lose the playoffs matches. When they experience defeat in the playoffs then it becomes hard for them to handle it, cannot control it.

Three group stages matches are left for Rangpur Riders and then the stages will come where they must perform well, cannot afford the loss there, must win matches. Let's see I am hoping too that they will win this season title but still the knockout matches have to be won.

Total 32 matches of Bangladesh Premier League competition was completed successfully and today 32nd match was finished among Strikers squad against Khulna squad. Strikers squad has begun the match first with batting Inning and their squad members managed to collect 152 scores as a defend and scores was not good seem low quality in this competition. Match was not easy for Khulna Tiger squad to win there is no doubt Strikers squad displayed bad performance in batting inning and collected low scores but their bowlers worked very hard to restrict the batter of Khulna Tiger squad below their scores.
