I think there should be some mercy for complete newbies as he clearly admits that he bought it.
I disagree.  He bought an account to make money here and he copy-pasted other people's words.  From looking at his posts, they're basically shitty and I don't think it's a great loss (that's being overly generous) for him to be permabanned.

His life will move on and he'll learn a lesson.
Possibly.
But admin can see when those messages were created..
Before or after password reset..
What if seller created all those c+ p posts in order to get more activity without honest work..?

in which culture is it appreciated to scam users out of 0.75btc, as this guy did with one of his alt accounts?
Everywhere, just get out of the career building and intellectual background or influence and go to some strip clubs/unreserved bars or go live with some drug dealers and see the culture, don't you know what politics is or how they become one ?
People will laugh and they get entertained by it,of course this is a forum (with a variety of personalities & protocol/religion which is being followed from years) and not real life. However I didn't knew that he has scammed users in his past and it is low life IMO.

Wouldn't want to live in a culture like that,
Yes,people who have a hard time understanding that stuff(criminal or bad ass) usually end up saying that. But the reality is it's all around them and they simply don't get involved in it because they suck at it and are pussies.(No personal attack)

and I think plenty of guys over here agree with it.
It doesn't matters lup and its not that easy to resolve/agree to anything in a couple of posts. No, I don't agree to a scam if there is proper/true evidence in my notice and I know the situation in complete.

You people take it to insane levels cause that is just a low quality act and nothing more to it.It's just the cultural difference that people fail to understand what is appreciated and what is not.keep this where it belongs ,if you give much attention to it then you would eventually end up being a judgmental or bias dick head.

WTF? I have only this and -Tx-Rider, I would not care about one account and would just use VPN and spam on other accounts, but I do not have any, thats why.
Hm, argueable.
What if I say, that I can connect the address 19j7em3sbc9ac72B5YH3hpi6dedfpDU1DB used by you to sign up with secondstrades.com

to at least 3 other bitcointalk accounts? Actually, make that 9.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13710070

If Tx-rider has those accounts, he should know the rule of this forum and does not post so many low quality posts.
Of course he does.  People who get caught breaking rules often plead ignorance, straight up lie about doing so, etc.  On any forum it should go without saying that it's not cool to just copy-paste other people's words.  That's a form of theft, even if it's legal.  Someone did it to me here and I was pissed and I reported it.  Why should some shitfuck in a signature campaign get paid from something I said?

Interesting point. Cheesy

All those accounts were used to scam once or several times in the past.
Copying other peoples post to earn from your signature campaign is a form of scamming to me (after all, you are paid for original/unique posts, not for c&p).
Why should a scammer change his habits?

Doesn't this illustrate the dangers of allowing memberships to be traded? If I were to leave this forum, I wouldn't like to sell my account, because it would still be linked to my reputation. Bought memberships show something about the seller as well as the buyer.
Yes sir, it definitely does.  Buying an account to participate in a sig campaign is pretty benign in my opinion, and it makes sense because members with higher rank earn more.  That's fine by me.  But we all know damn well that some people buy accounts to use a high rank and even earned trust to pull off scams.  I think the recent Master-P debacle was good evidence of this, because if I'm not mistaken the original person had sold the account and it was the buyer who scammed people.  Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

So you're definitely right.  And it seems like those who buy high ranked accounts, even if it's for a sig campaign, are the ones who chronically shitpost.

so this guy got banned because his mistake right, not the seller ? because i'm seller to i just want to know this problem.
Exactly. If you take a look at his post history, it contains a ton of copy/paste posts from other users which is an instant perma-ban on these forums.

Putting them on the same page wouldn't be fair IMO.The other one was a hero & very close to legendary,he might be deserving a perma.

His life will move on and he'll learn a lesson.
Perma is not a lesson its obliteration.

I agree. A guy comes on and sees an incentive to post and he does it. The decision to have signature campaigns is baffling, but when it leads newbies to abuse them on a first offense, don't be surprised.

you could make a detailed transaction proving that you have sold the account in question, by doing that you can clear you name if the account you sold
is being used to scam or spam etc..

there should be a ban message. and usually the reason of your ban should be there.

There was not such a message in my case. Still nobody replied to me about this.

BTW, my BTC address is the same as for my original "Rabinovitch" account: 16K8MUmL3HCsonDEfbGbAiWaxuwmT3fng1

p.s. it's just in case someone will decide again that this account should be banned too.  Angry

p.p.s. please someone quote this post with this BTC address...

your account was locked because of security reason, not banned because of whatever reason.

Sure it is.  He'll know not to pull that bs on other forums.  And getting banned from any forum isn't anywhere close to being the end of the world.  I say don't be soft on this stuff.  We can agree to disagree though and ultimately my opinion doesn't matter.
