I reckon that the most stable altcoin on the market right now is Ethereum. There is no other coin that is used more. Ethereum will be the future of ICOs with it`s feature of smart contracts. Some other honorable mentions would be Ripple and Litecoin.

I think it's fair to give Havven a shot. Their ICO ended in March lol. They've been announcing lots of partnerships and developments too. Just today they announced a partnership with Elysian.

I don't really know much about altcoins to suggest the one which is the best as I am yet to do any kind of research into them but i think we all would agree that  the market could really use a coin whose value is always the same and does not change all the time like other cryptos. Also it should not be a bubble coin or a scam because that is really doing more harm than good.

Honestly, I do not understand why these coins are needed. Probably that would bypass the regulatory requirements for fiat money. I avoid using such coins and I cannot say which better.

Yes, I also always look forward to news, and I just like this idea. The world really needs a cryptocurrency with a stable exchange rate. I personally don't trust Tether at all. It looks like part of a big deal and a bubble.
During a sharp decline, I don't want to take my money out of the crypt. But keeping them in Tether isn't a solution to the problem.
I really need such an alternative in the form of Basis for example.

My vote goes for Havven for sure. Even in this period , the value of the HAV token manages to grow almost everyday, and the marketcap of it went to over 43 million $ (They have raised 30 million $ in ICO). The devs really know what they are doing.

Wow look at all of these results! I'm not surprised about Havven though. They're very active in regards to partnerships, company, dev, and just about everything else. I see lots of potential with them as a huge contender to overthrow Tether.

Also like that they're decentralized.  Shocked

Lots of talk lately about stablecoins. What's your favorite?? IMO I hate Tether and I'm a big fan of havven. Would love to see what everyone else is into

This is the first time I've heard of Makerdao and Basecoin, to my understanding Havven is a new entrant in the stables and their dual token system to reduce volatility is a unique model. But why Nomin tokens ?

The way I understood it was on their site: https://havven.io/how-it-works

this is a short explanation of their dual token system:
The Havven platform uses two tokens to achieve stability. The havven token provides the collateral for the platform. Nomin tokens, a stablecoin, are issued against the value of the collateral token. This dual token approach incentivises users to hold havven tokens because network transaction fees are paid to havven holders. As more people use nomins for everyday transactions, the value of havven tokens will increase due to the higher fees generated.

Havven is a totally decentralised stablecoin, which means that, like bitcoin, it is secure and resistant to censorship. However, in contrast to Bitcoin, Havven uses a decentralised asset to reduce price volatility. The asset backing for the stablecoin comes from transaction fees generated by the Havven network. This means the asset is distributed and cannot be lost, stolen or seized.

Good poll with the top stablecoins. I'm sure over time tether is going to be replaced by one of them. It's just a matter of time.

I have my chips on havven

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Havven in the lead for votes.... but at the same time they're the most proactive. Just announced that nUSD is launching June 11: https://blog.havven.io/nusd-launches-june-11-9955ae729c59
Will make throughout study regarding this, stable coins might have a good infact in the market now. They were something unique as of this moment.

isn't basecoin not called that anymore? Aren't they just basis now??

Big fan of Havven. Pros are that their team is very active and they're very proactive with their dev. they even have an ecommerce store where you can use stablecoins to buy stuff.

I'm interested in seeing how they plays out
