Today feels like a great day for a BBQ! Who wants to join me?

I'm still not getting any connections. I'd love to see this coin rise from the ashes of the BBQ grill. Joking aside, I'd really like to see it operational again. I hope to be able to download the blockchain and resume mining. I look forward to your response!

Is this coin really dead? I'm surprised to see that it's been still kicking for so long and I'd love to see it keep going. I was one of the very first supporters of this coin practically from day one. Knowing the history of this coin I must say it has a tendency to rise from the ashes of a BBQ grill. I think it's time for that to happen once again for this most delicious of coins!

BBQCoin is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant payments to anyone in the world. It is based on the Bitcoin protocol but differs from Bitcoin in that it can be efficiently mined with consumer-grade hardware. BBQCoin provides faster transaction confirmations (2.5 minutes on average) and uses memory-hard, scrypt-based mining proof-of-work algorithm to target the regular computers and GPUs most people already have.
