Hi.

Mining in Philippines, is that something I should do? If yes:
- where do you buy mining HW?
- is the price for power cheap? What is it that?
The short answer would be “It depends on how much you’re willing to spend”. Each person asking himself this will get a slightly different answer since Bitcoin Mining profitability depends on many different factors.
Here no doubt that the price of  electricity is in good high amount  I mean not cheap .
Here also there are many factors which results into your mining profit .
these are
hash rate , Bitcoin per block ,Bitcoin difficulty , electricity rate ( already mentioned ) , internet speed and data consumption , power consumption , pool fee ,time frame conversion rate etc .
All over I will say not profitable .

Solo mining cannot be profitable in PH, as mentioned by others due to many hassles on doing so.

In particular, the speed of the local net will simply disappoint you on BTC mining. Even if you found a BTC by luck, the speed ot the net would not be fast enough to do a quick confirmation for you, thus  allowing others to technically "steal" the BTC for you since they could have a faster net on submission of the same newly found BTC.

Not economically feasible unless you are using free electricity and powerful hardware I think. But I doubt at current BTC difficulty level.

Sorry guys. I don't speak tagalog. I speak Danish and English

Then why are you posting here? This is a local thread of course most of us will speak in our language . Or are you planning on moving here to simply mine bitcoin? If yes, It's a no because I am afraid that all of your earnings will just go to your electricity bill . The power consumption here is really high and in fact the rate is increasing every year so just find another place .

P.S. : If you will be posting in a local thread like this, Be sure to add that you don't speak or understand their local language and also please specify the reason .

I have posted a question here, because I'm married to a philippino girl and I'm in philippines many times. So I was thinking to try to setup some hw to do some mining. But I will just be sure if there was ROI on it.

I'm just curious on why you are posting here while you said you only speak Danish and English. Maybe you're a foreigner living here in the Philippines. A lot of people here have already explained why but you just didn't understand, I hope this helps you a bit.

Anyway, the electricity pricing here in the Philippines is REALLY EXPENSIVE. It's not recommended and you will just bury yourself with debts and you're not even making $10 after a week of mining and the bill with that would be really huge (even if you say it's for free, the resources are just not being used to the right things). Everyone wants passive income, but mining won't be profitable here. Look for other ways.

Before mining is the most profitable to earn btc. But after years have passed and because of the difficulty ,mining became a waste of time ,consuming high electricity thats why mining is not profitable and not recommended by these days.

Mining is not recommended here in the Philippines.

Anong 1 year?
- internet connection nawawala or mabagal sa Pilipinas
