Bittrex assigned BCC to Bitcoin Cash and disappeared the old BCC (BitConnect).

Things could go very wrong for people that do arbitrage trading, traders that look for difference in price between exchanges and take advantage of it, if they saw that they could make a trade thinking that Bitconnect was bitcoin cash or vice versa and could lose a lot of money in that single trade.

There's already a coin called BitConnect with the ticker BCC, hence some exchanges list Bitcoin Cash as BCH, and few list as BCC, it can also have the ticker XBT according to the official website.

BCC is BitConnectCoin, so they chose to go for BCH. These guys are so stupid that they could not even have checked if it was already taken or not before...

No they are different..
BCC is for BITCOIN CONNECT
BCH is for BITCOIN CASH
If you can visit exchange then you can see they both are different.. trade for both these coins are through different blocks. And both have price difference also.. Actually they both came at same time in market..Many people are still its confused but they are different. You can also check on coinmarketcap.io

Initially also bittrex using BCC but after hard fork bittrex convert it to BCH as well. This should be announced officially, what code will be used Bitcoin Cash. But I prefer BCC for Bitcoin Cash code.

Yeah, Bittrex is still using BCC for Bitcoin Cash, but I guess they will assign it BCH soon.
As BCC is already in use from 2016.

BTW Bittrex started the BCH - BCC and BCC - USD trading few hours ago.

Yes, it will be a bad idea to have two different coins with the same name, because that could generate confusion and maybe a person trying to trade bitconnect will trade bitcoin cash and vice versa, so since BCC was already taken by bitconnect then bitcoin cash got BCH assigned to it.

It's like they haven't figured out that there's already existed a coin with BCC ticker when they just split over their coin from the original blockchain.
People who think that BCC is Bitcoin cash could be wrongfully putting their investment into the wrong coin.

And maybe they are acting so quick that they want this coin to be out to get the profit without any verification if the symbol they choose has already existed.

That's right. The ticker same with bitconnect. all of the exchange site already changed it into the BCH. The bitconnect and bitcoincash, i think there is no different for both of the coin. It just same altcoin.
The dev already choosen the bad ticker at the early start of bitcoincash.

nice to have a little clarification. I was referring to that piece of shit as BCC, but now I
shall call it by its proper ticker symbol BitCH.

None of this matters, though. Give it three weeks tops, and these threads will be scarcer
than hens' teeth. That coin is swirling around the bowl so fast, some of the shit water

I know that will be the the short form, Bitconnect is one of the most capitalize project in the space so it will be difficult for exchanges to use BCC, but BCH is not bad too, but I have a feeling the token will end up to nothing

Obviously, since its started to compare for bitcoin split, and giving free on this happen, many people pessimistic looking to buy the assets for future investment and surely its value going to nothing.
