They would rather create their own coin than on using or rebranding BCH itself knowing its a decentralized thing too and i dont think that they would use up for their plans.Its an impossible thing and this is just rumor and also Bitcoin China name do really sucks. If they would create new coin they should not use bitcoin on the name because no one could able to compete with bitcoin.

I agree and don't think china is more in bcc than in btc. They will develop their own cryptocurrency and I'm very interested in how this coin will behave.

Are you talking about BitcoinConnect (BCC) or BitcoinCash (BCH)?

BitcoinCash won't become bitcoin china - too many people outside china mining it (especially as it has a low hashrate compared to bitcoincore).

Somehow it's amazing to see how news/rumors like this got spread around.
But don't you think that's it's quite funny if it's really true. They want to use BCC instead of BTC.

It is how the China regulate thier wealth, it is no denying that China is more concern on their own interest. China is still up to Cryptosystem, they just keep themselve independent. It will be not surprising once one of this moment china has created thier own crypto coin or just like your speculation they will just coordinate with other (like BCC) to connect with their own. Let just see what their next step and see how they desperately defeat bitcoin. It all depends on the whale, miners and holders. Bitcoin is going through a test of stability.

What you say is likely to happen. Yesterday China opened a big conference to talk about the future of Bitcoin Cash. The purpose of the Chinese government is to manage their economies, because many people use bitcoin to bring their money abroad. Let's wait and see if China can get what they want when Bitcoin has built up so steadily and Bitcoin Cash is not really favored.

Since a significant portion of Bitcoin Cash's mining facilities are located in China, it is likely that they will try to subordinate the BCC and make it centralized. This could be possible,as Chinese government trying to halt or ban bitcoin mining and also shutting down the BTC exchanges. Thus, BTC price dips and devalued in China, then suddenly they surprisingly launch their Bitcoin Fork backed by Chinese government and other giant companies and financial institution then the mining and exchanges resume but only dominated by Bitcoin china and blocking Bitcoin to china and then the Bitcoin China price inflates.

I dont think that this will happen in the next time! Only if all the miners are switching to Bitcoincash, it could get interessting! Maybe some China miners switch to BCC, because of the BTC regulations. But I think they will just leave the country and mine the good old BTC there

BCC is already often referred to as the bitcoin of China but there are some logistical issues with the Chinese government trying to control it given its decentralised nature. Nothing is ever impossible though and the Chinese government often find ways to do things that others couldn't due to their ability to quickly adapt situations to their favour.

Without renaming BCC, everyone already know that BCC come from china and many people have called BCC as bitcoin china. and also, it's merely a rumour, just a BS unless a reliable source of information mentioned.
Maybe partnering with alibaba group is a good thing for china, but supposedly, doesn't give many affect for people outside china.
