Since there is no official discussion thread yet, I'd suggest we use the BC.GAME ANN thread for discussion related to this contest until one is created for it.

It's not that deep but up to you.

This will be the first prediction contest that deducts the scoring if anyone has a wrong prediction. Accordingly, submission rules will make it more competitive as the amount being paid for only protecting in this contest is big and to an extent better than some of the signature campaigns running now. I would have changed the rules if it was a paid contest, being free to enter and getting a good winning prize is all that I can offer for now with my rules for this contest. Thanks again for being supportive and trying to come up with new ideas.

I don't think it's a good idea, let participants make predictions for each individual match 1 hour prior, otherwise participants who fail to predict one match and there are two matches in a day then they will be excluded from both the matches.

I can understand this would be easier for you to manage predictions, but it's not a good idea from participants perspective.

@pakhitheboss , Appreciate your efforts in organizing IPL prediction competition. And I also thank the BC.GAME authorities for funding this competition. Moreover, participating in all these competitions makes it possible to spend a significant amount of time for entertainment. I feel very lucky to be a participant in your prediction competition.

This will make competition intense, I'm in for this addition. 

I'd have liked if we could discuss here too, plus as Bd Officer already mentioned IPL starts on 22nd so it should be corrected and UTC time should also be added as up to when entries will be taken for convenience of different timezones of forum users.

I would have liked it more if there was no negative marking for runs if a prediction didn't work, but I guess this will be a new experience for me. So, I'm in, probably the first participant of the contest to sign up. Can't wait for the action to begin.

• Member rank and above can participate in the prediction contest.
• Do not participate with multiple accounts, if you are caught then you will be removed.
• Anyone found using multiple accounts will get a negative tag from me and possibly from a  DT1.
• You are not allowed to submit more than one submission of your prediction.
• After submitting your prediction, do not edit it. If you do then you will be disqualified.

• Incorrect Top Scorer (-2 runs)
• Incorrect Highest Wicket-Taker (-2 runs)

• Predict the Final Score of the Winning Team (within +/- 10 runs) (+5 runs)
• Predict who will hit Maximum Sixes (+3 runs)
• Predict the team that will win the toss (+2 runs)
