as far as i know these are exchanges currently supporting BCN, if you want to acquire a unique product you shouldn't be following poloniex. No exchange should have the power to determine if a coin like BCN will be successful or not, certainly volume helps in short-medium term.

BCN developers fixed several old bugs and added a few new features (Github):

- DB error fix, new error code for API clients.
- Blockchain Synchronizer should now remove outdated txs only at first start.
- GET_OBJECTS response can be more than 16mb.

Minor fixes:

- Wallet synchronization enhancements
- Daemon synchronization issue fix
- Daemon stability enhancements

Giving 100% hashrate to a pool is never a good idea. Use alternatives. We got no idea what minergate is using as software and if it there were no alternative pools splits can be undetected for big periods of time (like the recent split leaving poloniex on forked chain)
