If they are who they say they are, why do they continue with such a disproportionate distribution of coins? On average only the equivalent of 2 amazon EC2 c3.8xlarge (32 core) instances with today's optimizations mined Bytecoin for its first 1.6 years of existence. This adds up to nearly 80% of all existing coins final money supply. Is the Bytecoin team going to "burn" most of the coins mined during this period?
For comparison currently the equivalent of 14,000 c3.8xlarge instances are mining Monero.
