Say, you persevere in and are determined for something which you are not naturally gifted with (like being short and trying to become a world-class basketball player). Then you will only be wasting your time and effort. Put differently, blind perseverance and determination can easily turn into an exercise in stupidity and futility. You should always practice "situational awareness", so to speak, i.e. how well something fits you and how well you fit in

While practice made it perfect yet being a gifted in such way is indeed,because even those who practice constantly still not reaching the top of their career because they have no gift of being that great.

You made Basketball as example but why there are very few players like Micheal Jordan and Kobe Bryant? because they are gifted and thats it.

you have to know if you actually have an edge. The only way to do that is with CLV. I would not recommend considering betting as a profession until you can achieve +EV on a regular basis.

In as much there is a system or strategies that worked for you as a gambler means you should be proud to be with a secret in gambling. Most of the strategies other gamblers had used aren't valid again for the purpose of bug fixed. Some popular strategies which had been used aren't working any longer and if new strategies are fond should be kept for such gambler. Most of my gambling are purely done with my eyes opened and not taking anyone input into my gambling. Be yourself while into gambling, make that decision which can eanr you good profit.

Professional gambler which may not be suitable for every gambler since most of the gamblers are betting money from their paycheck which is really bad motive.If you wanted to concentrate on gambling for full time then you need to have other source of income which will be used for your survival if you exhaust all of your saving while betting.

Professional gambler is the one for me the who actually spend a lot of time in gambling and his main income depends on the gambling. They keep playing constantly and many times in a day they do bet and overall at the end of the month make good amount of money which means more profit then the loss they may incurr in the gambling.

What's your definition of a professional gambler anyway?
Because being professional at something means you get paid to do it. In gambling, you can't be a professional gambler If you're not paid by someone to play gambling games like in the poker tournament.
Folks like us who gambles for leisure can't be a gambler in profession.
You can't expect gambling as the main source of your income, unless somebody is paying you to gamble then that's how you consider yourself a professional gambler.
And being one isn't easy tbh lol.

Every successful professional gamblers treat gambling as a sport and like disciplined athletes, they don't let their emotions get the better of them. There will be bets you win and bets you lose. If you let the excitement or sadness get to you, you will end up making bad gambling decisions.

spoken like a true professional. his reply might sound easy to do but is hard to follow especially with different scenarios and outcome in every play and game and in the end discipline is the major factor in order to follow the plan.

It's possible for someone to make a living out of gambling but only a small amount of gamblers could be that consistent in winning. Imo putting enough effort does pay off in gambling i've done it multiple times like for example when checking for the future matches that I follow I could sometimes find a value bet and usually it'll win but that doesn't mean I should rely on gambling. I don't recommend doing it but if there's people who does it until now then there's still a chance, just don't expect it to be that easy.
