Hi everyone!

I am really sorry for all of the confusion regarding our especially lengthy bounty campaign! We could not thank you enough for your continued support of our project. Without all you guys, the widespread exposure we have received would not have been possible.

I want to clarify a miscommunication on our end, an error that I take responsibility for. In the bounty program, Tokens=Stakes.

For everyone that has been worried that they would not be fairly rewarded for their time and effort, I hope this clears things up. If you have direct questions, feel free to PM or message me on Telegram!

Thank you for your answer and that the whole mess become just a miscommunication.

I edited OP with your response and closing the topic now as raised concerns are solved.

Hello,

Recently I was planning to invest some coins into STORM (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-storm-token-earn-free-cryptocurrencyico-2006999)

But then I notice they totally fucked their bounty program (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounty-ico-storm-token-900k-users-2005611):

They allocated 50,000,000 STORM for the bounty campaign. But recently they've changed counting system from STAKED to TOKENS. This mean they want to pay 1000x less!!!

IMO this is first sign of pure scam behavior and I will not trust them my hard earned coins.

Most likely they did a mistake in the wording. Amateurs don't understand the word stakes. I had to explain it to many people, and if someone was reading different bounties without hard experience, he just made a mistake.

From my communication with @stormtoken, they will return Stakes as bounty counting and the whole mess is some team miscommunication.

IMO this is the right move to do the things right. I'm not in the Bounty campaign, but I'm always looking for red flags before investing.

I know a long time ago, that stakes is also the same as tokens from their end.
So changing the words on their bounty campaign thread such as this might create confusion with others that haven't got in touched or haven't been following with the team.
I know their campaign is very long already that participants haven't seen their fruits of labor yet, but, my impression is that they are legit.
Joining conferences everywhere and doing their stuffs in legit way that's why they are taking so long.
And if you're not really patient enough, you will just remove yourself from their bounty campaigns as you don't know when and how much you're gonna get paid.

This is really surreal, and stupid beyond imagination! As soon as investors find out that the team would have no problem screwing their own advertisers, they would stop to trust them at once. Unless that's just a stupid typo mistake...

OMG this is sad , I thought this is a huge potential project as one of its adviser is Bittrex CEO. I also have a stake with their Twitter campaign. May be I should check my stakes. Thanks for the heads up.

-snip-
let always do personal research before concluding that an ICO is a scam, they have issues with the bounty not the ICO dont think it nice of you to  condemn there project, thou it not nice they change the pattern of payment for there bounty.

This is exactly what I'm doing before investing in any project - do a personal research. Checking topics - ANN,Bounty all socials, shill accounts, etc.

If they change the Bounty payment silently, without any announce, then later they could do the same with main project and any other aspect. IMO this is shady behavior and I'm just warning people. Everybody could choose to invest or not.

Damn. Thanks for sharing this man, i almost got scammed. :/
Was really thinking of investing because i was hearing a lot of great news about this STORM coin. Even my friends told me its great that's why i read it and find its project really interesting. But now im having second thoughts. Amd probably think of not investing. Because i don't wanna lose my hard earned money :/

indeed it's not nice.. unfortunately almost all the devs and managers are not very polite and respecting when it comes to bounty participants, of course we don't give them any money, but we give them time. and only a person who has never participated in any bounty campaign thinks it's not time consuming at all.. i wonder what would they do without us.. how much would they have to pay to pr agencies, and real money.. just sad.. i have been participating in this program for almost two months, maybe more, and now they are changing the payment rates.. wtf..
