never happened to me, but my advice to newbies that are just starting to trade tokens, just make sure that the token you want to trade on any decentralized exchange have the same smart contract, token name, and decimal number if everything is the same then that is the actual token, but the safest thing to do is just wait for the Official exchange.

I really agree with you, before buying, we really have to look at observing especially the name or initials of the coin carefully and carefully including, the address of the coin distributed from which address, because it reduces errors in the transaction, and like my initial experience when I just learned trading and the incident I always remember all this time, hopefully it will be useful and successful for all of us

I buy only on the exchange its more secure. Before buying anything much better to make a research on the coin and look on the roadmaps. I was a victim then when I buy without research just by the rumors of the crypto minds now I'm holding a coin that give nothing to me but loses. I can't sell it today because price is very low.

Yep, this is happening a lot recenetly. There were some scam thread about the guy who faked his token to get a loan. They use fake token with same name as the collateral and if the lender doesn't know if the collateral actalually only shit token, they will get scammed.

Indeed, the Crypto world has a very high risk of losing all the money you have, I often get someone who is not always known to offer lucrative investments, and I know that it is fraudulent with fake accounts all the platforms used are fake so I never believed in new people, all about the crypto world and the money they use to cheat, it's a shame that so many people like that.

So for every information that is good to dig deeper, so everything you have is still valuable in your hands.

It's very easy to create fake volume and manipulate prices so you need to do a lot of heavy research about what your investing in.

for a newbie, it often happens because many do not know the addres contract. they only know the token name, but there are many tokens of the same name. make it all experience, because experience is the best teacher. Wink

Sometimes you can be lured by sweet words and might fall into others trap. As a newbie here you are motivated to try trading for the first time and then decided to buy and sell to earn a little profit. Check on those cheap decentralized exchange and then buy the coin you want to buy and sell, and the suddenly you can’t sell it on legitimate exchange. The last thing you know is, it’s a wrong coin but with the same name but with different contract address.
I've experienced something like that, sending it to a different address so my token is gone. at that time I sent the Zapit token to the ZIPPIE address. then my zapit token is gone. hopefully you are more thorough and do not experience the same thing  Cry

Then the solution on this is don't register and use those unfamiliar exchanges.

If you are caught up with those cheap prices and you love comparing it to others, you'll likely to fall with this scam.
