When the price are extremely bearish I tend to put a halt to trading for a certain amount of time, watching the coins I've already acquired and also study the market movements,i actually also purchase coins during such periods but not on a high amount, but I acquire one or two coins, hoping for a future pump.
So I can quite rightly say my strategy during such periods is to buy low and also little and then wait

How are you guys Surviving in this Bear markets

If you are still trading , what are the strategies you are using.

How are you guys managing risks.

I will summarize the answer so that it satisfies all your questions. I do the following: I buy whenever fall. eventually I will have many bitcoins. with this strategy in a few years I will have a good money and who knows, it would have been for my retirement. Of course I'm running the risk of not making a profit if for years the price has not risen, but it is a risk that I must take

It is best to invest in ICOs...

It is best to invest in ICOs when prices are not satisfactory, but lately potential projects are so scarce and when they list on exchange, prices are being traded several times below ICO price. Staying away keeps your money in your pocket, due to leverage trading is unpredictable. The best is ''Collecting from cheap price, investing in the future''.

I've stopped trading for the most part in the last week or so with the erratic price movements that have been going on for the last few days with the barting up and down all over the place to survive this bear market. I'm still doing DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging), though, as I do think the prices we're at are prime for fresh investment. If you do choose to trade in this volatile market, though, make sure you're setting tight stops as prices bounce all over the place every few days.

Well, I'm making myself to survive with this drought coz of the bear market. As a trader or simply an investor, losses is inevitable but actually i do have 2 types of holdings or
on how do i trade.I have long term positions and i do have shorter time frame ones. For long term then its quite understandable that I'm holding still as of these days since the market
didn't recover yet and second to my shorter positions its quite hard but i do somehow able to manage to make profits.

The risks associated with day trading is always present and proportionally the same in both bearish and bullish markets. Bear in mind that trades is movement of cash between traders, so if one is losing another is gaining, regardless of the market situation.

Work on your strategy in line with the changing times, Adapt!

It's not easy to get profits when Bear markets, I can only trade the mayor cryptocurrency Bitcoin and ethereum to reduce the risk of accidents that extend to assets. do not take the risk of trading at altcoins, which is mostly manipulated by whales

I cannot share my trading strategy because each person will have different thoughts and my strategy will no longer be useful when it is publicly available to everyone.
But I can share ways to manage risk. We should use exchanges that have a stop-loss function, which is the most important thing in the bear market. because you won't know when it falls.
In addition, you need to pay more attention to news about the recently listed altcoins on CMC. Buying and selling in DEX will be quite profitable if you invest in the right time. good luck Wink

for now I only put up the selling price that I want and leave it, because for now if I trade daily, it will take too much time, and to anticipate losses that are too deep, I have a purchase order at a low price. with a note, choose coins that you think are good.

My trading is currently on hold. The market is too crazy even if you trade short term. It is like gambling. Sudden jumps up or down make it very difficult to predict the market movements. I don't know if you can use any indicators for this kind of market. In my opinion it is better to hold what you already have and not lose your bitcoins. When the bulls come again, it would be a different story. You would be able to trade the various alts more easily and make profit. Patience is the key word now.

To survive in this current bearish market you have to follow the technical indicators that allows you to predict the market in the short time.  The market is not making any serious move from now except something fundamentals happened and it seems we are all waiting for what will happen next month if ETF is approve or disproved.  The risk is very high especially if you are in the wrong position and this heavy news hits  the market.  I think we are to have this at the back of our mind that the trend is our friend and when it turns it became our enemy and because of this you must place stop loss in a place that you know you can afford to lose.

You can do day trade to make profits in this bear market or just hold the coin until the price reaches more than your bought price. No more strategies in my opinion.

One strategy that we must do now is to make decisions quickly, bear market conditions must be faced without waiting too long.
We must make a decision even though the benefits obtained are very small, the bear market must really be utilized.
Do not let us make a wrong decision and it will give us opportunities to make a profit.

How did you trade in the first place? Have you used any stop loss when you trade? Did you do margin/spot trading?
I personally don't trade at this market, but if I see a shift of market direction I'd act accordingly. For example, if the bear is getting stronger then I'd sell all my crypto to fiat and wait for a new entry. Join the next wave and so on.

I learn this lesson the hard way when last year I don't sell any crypto and then lost quite a lot after bear takes over for months.
